| Star: "The sun does several things..."
Star instantly brought his sword forward and had it pointed right at Xana, if she continued her path she would skewer herself. Star: "...it warms the body..." Wind around Star started to change direction. Star: "...reassures the mind..." The wind began to carve a seal. Star: "...and helps focus the blade." A rather large seal was cut into the ground now, much bigger than the previous ones. |

| The half-breed quickly flapped her wings to get her out of the path. Avoiding being shish kabobed and should have knowned the sun would have had something to do with that damned sword of his. She raised a brow at the new seal on the ground. Figuring it wouldn't be good at all. | |||

| Star: "Humans do desperate things when they're about to die, sometimes they learn to master that desperation and repeat it."
The seal started to glow a creepy gray color. It's light seemed to take away the differences between parts of the ground, graves looked exactly the same in the light. Star looked at the horizon and saw the sun start to rise. |

| Star: "Tell me... Do half demons have that same kind of ability?"
Star didn't move and Xana hit him right in the back. He wasn't pushed forward though, he was like a statue. A powerful shock wave sent anything around him flying out of the seal and he coughed up blood. The blood began to circle over head and form a duplicate of the seal above him. |

| "No all demons and half-demons are all different in one way or another. Just like humans." She said after sitting up on the ground from being repealed back from the seal after her attack. The seals were becoming annoying but it wasn't like she could just walk right up and rub them out with her hand or foot. | |||

| Star: "Through time a soul becomes stronger and stronger, but there is a point when the physical body is just a limit. Seals of binding that hold my body together! Unleash Soul!"
Star's body flashed white and for a second the world seemed to shake. The light slowly collapsed on itself and a white silhouette was all that remained. The ball of light in the sky faded away and the only light they had was the rising sun. |

Xana was utterly confused as to what was going on with Star now. She brought her hands up to shield her eyes from the intense light that surrounded him before it slowly diminished. She feared that she would soon find out why he did that and it could not be a good thing for her. Well Star still had to learn a thing or two about this half-breed anyway. |

Star: "I no longer am limited by a body." |

| "Ok so you got rid of your body so to speak. Still think that will work against me?" questioned Xana as she quickly side stepped away from him. He was proving to be a worthy opponent. Yet annoying at the same time. | |||

| Star stopped on one foot and did a sweeping low kick. He then jumped off the ground and shot into the air, coming back down at a high speed, trying to smash into Xana.
Star: "Whether it works or not doesn't matter..." Star's foot ignited in white flames as he rocketed downward through the sky. |

| Xana fell to the ground but rolled out of the way before his foot smashed into her. Jumping to her feet once he missed and went to tackle him. | |||

| Star grabbed Xana by the shoulders and stopped her. If he still had a body, his arms might have been hurt, but in his current state, he was perfectly fine.
Star: "It's useless to keep attacking like that." Star attempted to throw Xana into the air and then follow up by flash stepping above her and kicking her right back down to the earth. |

| Xana quickly spread her wings and flapped profusely to slow her decent after being kicked in the air back towards the ground. She landed in a kneeling position before jumping back up at Star, grabbing his leg and swung him towards the ground.
"Also there seems to be no end to this battle." She frowned; knowing that he couldn't really get hurt now and she could take any blow he gave her. |

Star landed on his feet on the ground and jumped to the side and then up at an angle, aiming a front-flip kick at Xana. He looked at the ground for a second before he tried to follow the attack up with a spinning kick to the right. |

| Xana took both of the hits and stumbled back, falling to one knee.
"I'm not one to call it quits. No matter what the cost." She got up and ran forwards at him. Leaping in the air and attempting to land a side kick with her right leg extended and left leg tucked underneath. |

Star side stepped from the kick and grabbed Xana's foot. He seemed to float for a second as he stepped into the air above her and stepped right onto her knee cap with his full weight. |

| Xana could help but cry out in pain as he shattered her knee cap. Still she wouldn't give up from being down a leg. She swung a left hook at him. | |||

Star was hit across the face, but he fought through the pain as he grabbed Xana's arm and pulled it forward. He held her arm in the air and used his other arm to bend it down, against the joint. Star: "You're determined, but how long will that keep you alive?" |
