Well, while being high in class I made the incredible find that our school computers use Google as their browser homepage. We also use lololol <3. Astonished by this fact I immediately started wondering what the homepages in other schools would be, and what browser they would use.
Nevertheless I was very baked back then, here I am posting my little question.
What browser and what homepage does your school use?

Oh and mods, this isn't spam. This IS the craziness domain after all. And we've had topics like "Do you pull your toilet paper up or down?" and "Do you look in the glass, or over it?". Think about that before you close this.

Hmm, we have our own Laptop on my school so we can have whatever browser homepage we want.

I have the usual lololol starting page. I don´t think it´s necessary to change it.

Edit: Oh, we choose what browser to use ourselves.

When I was in school, they used IE and, if I remember correctly, had www.startsiden.no as the starting page.

My school uses IE by default and the starting page soley depends on which computer you are sitting at.

Some are google, yahoo, altavista, espn, wwe, and other various asortment of crap.

It depends on which computer lab you go to. The ECE labs have IE and Mozilla, and the homepage is the ECE webpage. The CSE labs have IE and Netscape, and the homepage is (surprise!) the CSE webpage. I'm not too sure about the general computer labs, as I almost never use them, but they have IE (and maybe Mozilla, but I'm not sure) and their homepage is the school's site.

IE, and about:blank

Yeah. My school's not cool like you all but at least I have the ability to tap into the network wirelessly and use Mozilla at my whim via my own laptop. Though theres only a few places that will work (the main staircase being one of them )

At my school, the district's site is the home page. http://www.cusd.org.
Pretty boring, but what can you do.

And most schools ARE boring.

The students are always messing around with the settings on the computers, because the tech staff have no idea what they're doing. Officially we use IE, but they all downloaded FF immediately, it was kinda funny. Sometimes I open it to find Crtl-Alt-Del, sometimes it's some sports page, it's been Irritability for more than three weeks now. Someone set the homepage to Maddox last year, and usually the crap (pr0n, etc) is fixed before anyone cares.

It's awesome.

ROFL! It´s like on my old school then. My little brother knew what the problem was and the tech staff that was there had no idea.

The high school I went to had its useless site as the homepage, and used IE on Win98, WinME, or WinXP, depending on where you were at (ME in library, 98 in classrooms, XP in computer lab IIRC)

My college uses Internet Explorer and has http://www.vaniercollege.qc.ca/ as the home page. When I was in High School it was almost the same except the home page was http://csmb.qc.ca/fr/index.html. Nothing too special.
