| (ooc: This battle is for Koneko only!)
The group of warrior clerics hold their pikes upright, marching in a 3-3-4 formation. They reach a three way intersection which they decide to split up on. The second group of three reach an area with a long drop down to the right, a huge rock face to the left, and various boulders that randomly fell from the rock face. They stop as they reach this area as they see a figure on the other side, blocking their path. The leader of this group speaks. "Flee now, and we shall spare your life!" They all stand impatiently, waiting for a reply. One begins to charge his pike with holy energy, ready to fire it at the figure in absence of a reply. |

| Adric sighs internally. These mountains had been cleared of bandits ages ago, but no one ever thought to suspect the local monasteries of the tragedies occuring on a daily basis. He'd decided to do a good deed and investigate, taking a few days off from saving the universe to see why ordinary people keep getting killed. Looks like he suspected correctly, what with a patrol band carrying weapons, threatening bypassers like himself. Well, they'd get the fight they asked for...
"Actually, if it's all the same to you, I'd like to hand you the same ultimatum. I'm afraid you may have run into the wrong kind of person." Adric waits patiently for the other side to answer, pretending to ignore the holy energy building up in one of the weapons... |

| The warrior-cleric at the front points his pike to Adric. "You're on... CHARGE!" The two parties on the other trails hear the leader shout, so they immediatly begin to treck around to the centre. The charger of the holy energy fires a bolt of it at Adric. The other two charge at him with their pikes pointed to Adric's chest. | |||

| Adric reacts quickly to the bolt of energy fired at him. Manipulating magical energy is his specialty, and he puts it to good use. Instead of hitting him, the bolt of energy flies right between the two foes before they can stab him and explodes, showering a five foot radius with the same holy energy. He then raises his right hand above his head, and clenches it into a fist before dropping to a crouch. As he does so, a bolt of lightning drops out of the clear sky, intending to fry the other opponent where he stands. | |||

| The warrior cleric on the right is prepared and creates a small magical barrier to his left. The left hand guy isn't as prepared and is blasted off the cliff. With quick thinking he jabs his pike into the rock, swinging around on it. As he swings back up, he directs a kick towards Adric's head.
The third cleric casts a protective barrier over himself, causing the lightning to absorb into him. He only recieves partial damage. He throws his pike at Adric, keeping a magical grip on it so it would return to him. The first cleric swings his pike to Adric's knees with great force. -=Adric=- Life Force - 9 (|||||||||) |

| Adric is quite surprised that his attacks did not bring down any of his foes. As such, he falls back on the contingency plan: Blow stuff up. He slams his palms against each other, and a column of fire descends from the sky to land with him unharmed at the center, timed to blast away both the incoming monk and the one swinging the pike. However, he's less prepared to deal with thrown weaponry, and is hit in the side by the flying pike. | |||

| The two monks near Adric are thrown by the flames, one to fall to his doom by the drop, the other getting speared by a jagged rock on the cliff face. The third one loses hope as he is left alone, waiting for his comrades. He brings his pike back to him, which he then snaps in half.
He raises his palm to face Adric and fires a holy bolt. He then grabs the end of the snapped part of the pike, which he sharpens with a weak holy bolt. He surrounds this with light energy, forms a magical bow in his hands, then fires the sharpened part of his pike. The second team of three has reached the intersection and is heading up the path towards Adric and the monk. |

Adric sighs again. The holy bolt slows down, stops, turns into a fireball, and flies back at the monk, incinerating the pike as it goes. Adric then begins to charge arcane energy into his hands, preparing for the next set of enemies. |

| The third monk is hit by the fireball, knocking him clean off the cliff.
The next set of enemies cast Speed over themselves, causing them to move a lot quicker towards Adric. Within a second they were surrounding Adric in a triangle shape, two of them stabbing at Adric's front, one of them swinging his pike downwards at his back. -=Adric=- Life Force - 9 (|||||||||) |
