I'm finish my second year at a Catholic University in Puerto Rico. My BA is in systems information. My real dream is to write for a magazine or a newspaper but nonetheless computers is what I major in.

I have no job at the moment. I really haven't tried looking for one.

Relationship wise. I'm single. Holding a streak of 4 rejects straight. As you can tell my luck is bad and I'm a bitter person..

*On a side-note. Looks like I'm the only person so far that has posted in this thread who enrolled in college at the age of 17.

Finished my B.A. in communications in 2003. Now, I'm a sportswriter for a weekly paper in Connecticut (uh, it's in my bio). When I was in school, I was trying to double-major in communications and poli sci, but didn't finish the latter in time. If possible, I'd like to go back and finish it, and maybe get my Master's in communication. By board standards, I'm ancient at 24.

I am not studying anything at the moment. I have job, and it's crap. I don't want to say what it is, other than that it involves selling stuff.

I have been, and am, thinking about studying meteorology at the university of Bergen, but I haven't started yet, because I'm not sure if it's the right thing for me. I'm gonna have to start something by autumn next year, and I don't know what else I want to do, so I should probably just go for it..

I see that most of the people here are professionals. That's a good thing.

I am hoping to apply my business skills to making a game design company of some sort. I'm not quite sure what I'll be doing with it, though.

I'm kind of looking forward to being a piano tutor. That should be pretty interesting.

I am a sophomore in college and I am majoring in Game Design Development. Obviously, I aspire to be a game designer. I want to design classic adventure games similar to the era of LucasArts adventure games in the 90's. I have a part time job at Spencer Gifts . I thought it would be a cool job but it gets old like any other part time job. Before this I worked at a library putting books away , then before I had a seasonal job at Sam Goody, before that I worked at Dunkin' Donuts/Baskin Robbins which was pure hell , and my first job was a counselor at a playground.

LucasArts? What kinds of games were those? I can't entirely remember... I remember the Star Wars games but that's about it.

It's always great to see more game designers around.

Lets see i'm out of high school. Never had a job yet. Decided to go to college about 2-3 months ago. In less than a month going to college for a certificate a one year for game designer and animation. When I am at school won't be playing any games that much any more. I'll be studing more than playing games or tv. Once done with college I will be searching for career job and be making $50,000 a year in starting.

As it's said in my bio, i'm a 6 year student of Information Technologies Engineering at Santa María university in Valparaíso, Chile. The only jobs i had were working as a cashier in my family business. Now i'm applying for a practice job (or better said, many of them to assure that i get in someone) for summer in here (summer is Dec, Jan, Feb here). I think i have to stay 2 years or more at Univ. because i failed some courses, so i'll be out at 26

Good Luck to everyone in your jobs/collegue/high school

Yes, LucasArts has a bunch of Star Wars games, but during the 90's they had a series of clever, funny, and entertaining point and click adventures, which include the Monkey Island series, Sam and Max, and Maniac Mansion. I want to design these types of games because I really miss them .
