| Keep in mind that it'd be one of the same size appearing over a thread... why?
1. Ads there are pretty much proven to make more money. 2. We still owe money. 3. More money = more shit we can do. [shrug] I don't know how well it'd be accepted, and there's a fine line between "ok" and "excessive, I'm fucking adblocking this shit"... I'm trying not to hit that line (hence me asking), of course. (and for those of you who do block the ads: thanks a lot, jerks  ) |

| If it's really that important for monetary reasons, I suppose do what is necessary, but only if it really is absolutely necessary. The one at the bottom really doesn't bother me much at all, but if one goes above the threads, that'll be pretty annoying.

| I don't mind the ad being at the bottom of the page. I don't need to see it while looking at the board.
But to have it over a thread? It is a eyesore. But, I don't mind aside from the fact that it is there. If the money is needed and this is a way to solve the money problems. Fine. Do it. I won't even block the damn thing. I will though complain about it when you least expect it just because I feel the need to do so. Mind you this is a pre-mature vote. If by the chance that when the ad is placed and it looks fucking stupid.I shall change my vote and place it at #2 in the list of 'stupidest things Xk has done. ever' |

I have them blocked and unblocked at random times. When they are unblocked, I like reading what they are trying to sell. Sometimes they are flat out stupid. Wait, couldn't you do the search bar with Google? You have Google Ads, so why not do the search bar at the top of the page? That would earn a lot of money since we all use Google. Also on the plus side, it would stop some new rom hacker asking "Where can I find blah blah blah?" without searching because the search bar would be flat in their face! | Our hosting is $60/mo... psuedo-dedicated server, although we share it with jplegacy, as well.
O)f course, being able to get our own hosting (without all these other sites, as well) would be nice. |

| Yeah, it's not a bandwidth issue. XK just wants to get a better server. We're using a virtual one right now, and the one you have Max is probably a virtual one too. I don't recall seeing many "real servers" with bandwidth caps but... *shrug*
Our own hosting would be nice too, if XK really wanted to I could look into the possiblitied of getting a server of our own. But someone would have to pay any costs that comes up (and if I was the one who got the server... it would probably be me. I wouldn't like one at the top. It would be very noticable, in the way, actually change how the board looks (the one at the bottom is hardly noticable, I love it). But if you're desperate for money, then whatever. I'd still prefer it at the bottom if you can do that. |

| I wouldn't be opposed to a Google search bar. Hell, if not for the obnoxious banners that tend to appear, I wouldn't block Google ads at all.
Of course if they're pay-per-view ads, not pay-per-click, then there's really no need to put them at the top. |

| Google bar. if anyone asks for something which we think they should google, we can say "LOOK AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE" instead of "Google it."
I ignore the the ads at the bottom either way. it's cool seeing what they're trying to sell, though. |
