So the palettes are the same, or universal throughout the rom? And did you expand the rom past the hardware support?

You are my hero!

Anyways, I have a very simple suggestion, but I've always wanted to see it:
How about a combination of the Hammer Bros. and Fire Bros.? I've always thought about that enemy...

No, the ROM has been expanded to the max a MMC3 chip will allow. As for the palettes, what do you mean the "same" or "universal"? The palettes really have no bearing on weather or not the hack works on real hardware. I didn't use a custom palette file for this.

I should have been more clear. I meant not using more colors than the nes supported. I know some emulators allow for custom palettes (stuff the hardware cannot support) and I was just curious. That's all. This hack looks amazing. I've always loved Super Mario Bros 3 and I was blown away with Mario Adventure. This just completely blows that away IMHO.

Yeah, I figured you meant the custom palette loaded by the emulator, so no, I didn't use one. Maybe someone will load this sucker on a real cart someday and sale it in Taiwan or something lol

Ah, someonehas been hacking your last Demo? You didn't put in safe gaurds like Lunar Magic does?!

Would it be possible to release another DEMO.. it's just I have your last one and it's one of the best hacks I've EVER played. It just OWNZ.

Oh I was wondering, I noticed that in the original Mario 3 as well, that on the right hand side of the screen there is sometimes a small garbled bar. It seems to be a flaw in the game itself and it's in all hacks of Mario 3 including yours. If there was some way to fix it..

Oh, you might want some original ideas for overworlds.. since for example having 2 desert worlds (one for Mario and one for Luigi) may seem a tad repetitive I could make some suggestions.. How about:

- Swamp World
- Roman Ruins World
- Prairie World
- Barren World (like just middle of no where)
- Tropical World
- Sky World
- Cave World

These are just ideas, so instead of having Two Worlds for Mario & Luigi that are different but share the same theme, you could have completely different worlds!! (which would make your hack the mother of all hacks)

lol.

How about the garbled bar that I pointed out? Would the be possible to fix.. (seriously doubt it though) And cocerning the "world" ideas I proposed, I just thought it'd be really kewl.

Seeing how many commercial NES games do it, I kinda doubt it's easy to fix. I believe it's a hardware issue.

You can either have a bar for vertical or a bar for horizontal scrolling, it's a hardware limitation, I'm sure someone can explain why better than me.
