With a "bamf" and a cloud of purple smoke, a Dreamlander appeared next to Dani. Unlike Kirbynite, this one DID have rabbit ears. He also had red-orange hair and yellowed horns such as Kirby has when he has the Bowser ability, and also an odd tail like the one Kirby gains with the Mewtwo ability. He was using his psychic abilities to float in the air as he spoke to Dani's prisoners. The moment he appeared, another PET showed up on Vile's scanners, but this was not yet in any way important.

GM Popodey: First thing's first. Black holes are areas of space-time with a gravitational field so intense that its escape velocity is equal to or exceeds the speed of light. Falling into one would mean only your demise, and if one appeared on the surface of your Earth, it would be a matter of moments before the entire planet collapsed under the gravitational stress. What you fell through was a wormhole, also known to some as a portal. They are distortions in space-time linking one point to another. Secondly, the device preventing further intrusions on this reality is only doing that: preventing further intrusions. It is purposely designed not to hinder leaving this reality- *turns to Dani* -and I do recommend sending these two on their merry little way. I don't know what your plans are, but these fools can only get in your way. With that universal barrier up, they will be unable to return, and thus even less capable of hindering you than they are in this cell. *turns back to Vile and Sid* And that net navi of which you speak has no relation to the barrier other than that his operator is one of the two people who developed it. And "catalyst" is a term referring to something that initiates or causes an event to happen. I should think as a piece of software, you'd have a better grasp of the English language. That about covers what I have to say to you... Though I do have things to say to your author, so I had better go into out-of-character mode for that.

OoC Popodey: This is not your story, Forte. This isn't even your continuity. So enough with the pointless battles, plot hijacking, and erroneous assumptions. On that last point, Kirbynite does not have rabbit ears, this is not a "Kirby universe" (it's a universe made of many, many different series combined into one... sort of how yours appears to be a combination of the normal Megaman reality and the Megaman Battle Network reality), and Dani is not simply an "evil person" living in a "fortress of some sort." She has in fact been on both sides of the good/evil line and lives in what was once the floating Kingdom of Zeal (from Chrono Trigger) which has since crashed into and become somehow attached to Neo Grape Gardens (which is in fact Angel Island, AKA The Floating Island from Sonic the Hedgehog). She was the main character of our very-much-missed-SFer Danicess, much as Sky was the main character of our not-really-missed-much-at-all-SFer Skydude. Her sudden return to a state of "evil" from her previous state of "not evil" is sure to be caused by some yet-unknown catalyst (a word you should know the meaning of now ) to be revealed later (MUCH later) in the story. And incase you didn't catch the "filthy male" comment, she doesn't much care for or trust members of the masculine gender. So don't expect your characters to be able to sweat-talk her into letting them go... ever.

Popodey clears his throat.

Popodey: Well, I think that about covers it. I'll be going now.

...

Popodey: Aw, crap, my godmode spray wore off *turns to Dani* You're going to throw me in one of the dungeon cells now aren't you?

----------

Meanwhile...

Jack and Draco used their wings to provide a safe landing at the bottom of the pit. JDavis, on the other hand, used his airshoes to soften the landing.

Dani: .....

The next thing Popodey knew as he was thrown inside a prison cell, far from Sid and Vile.

Dani: Don't even THINK you can get out of this, little man. I.. don't know who you are, but ths prison's meant to keep Kirbynite inside. It's laced with a dark attribute that's sure to cause you to feel lonely as you try to use your psychic powers.

Danielle turned around and walked away.

Dani: Ugh, this is SO annoying! .... There you are!

Kirbynite: Crud!

Dani swept Kirbynite, who was hiding underneath a bucket, up, and chucked him into the cell next to Popodey.

Dani: This is the third time.

Kirbynite: What can I say? I don't like being confined too much.

Danielle rolled her eyes and stormed off.

Zap was shaken out of the daze he was in and paid attention to the action at hand. Unlike on the main level, he knew nothing about the underground maze they were now in, so he logically forfeited his position as head of the expedition.

Zap: Leaders in front.

Teddylot: Minorities in the back ... of the bus ...

Zap: .... you didn't just say that.

Teddylot: Okay, I didn't.

Kirbynite: Yeah, I guess.

Kirbynite gets up, and walks towards the cell's bars. A spark of electricity shot out, knocking the cap sporting Dreamlander to the back of the cell.

Kirbynite: *cough cough* Well.. uh.. I'll have to think of another way to break out...

---------------------------

Sky: Meh.

Sky took a few steps foward. Infront of him was a platform that didn't even have enough space for a man of his size to crawl through. Looking around, he could see, through the crystal clear water below the platform, another path that seems to be wide open.

Sky: All this water has to go somewhere. I wouldn't mind a little swimming.. unless you guys think you can limbo that little space there.

Grey: "Perhaps we can drain the water? I'm not exactly privy to swimming, myself..."

Grey snapped his fingers, and the darkness of the underground maze was slightly relieved by a ball of fire that he had PK'd into his hands.

The sight that met his eyes was amazing; An entire underground city, with aqueducts, tunnels, even the ruined remains of buildings and other strange structures. It was almost as though an entire city had been immersed in water and lost forever.

And yet, throughout it all, he could feel something very mechanical about it, as though there was somehow something much more beneath the surface of the overlay of grey and blue bricks. Like Venice, there was no way to drain ALL of the water...

Without waiting for Sky, Grey took a quick glance around and jumped into the water (more out of necessity than anything else: He's not a water fan, you see). His flame went out instantly, and beneath the waves his head produced a green flash of light, illuminating the dark, wet path.

The water was surprisingly warm, for an underground cavern. He suspected even more now that there were machines within these walls, processing energies and giving off a heat that made for a reasonably comfortable swim. Bubbles of air floated out from the floor of the caverns, big enough to stick one's head inside of. Definitely something going on behind the scenes.

There were even mechanical fish, tiny little things that fluttered and swam about in the water in schools. Grey pondered why a robot would need to travel in schools, and what could possibly coordinate such a being under these conditions for a few moments before noticing a rather large tunnel that had a small current sucking into it.

His breath about to start actually hurting, Grey rocketed back to the surface and broke the water with his head. The cold air of the inner cavern greeted him sharply, and he reported his findings back to the group.

"Ah, right, I think I found where to go, if we're going down."

He looked up. The flash of light from his head showed a cliff at the very top of a large stone temple, closed off save for the tunnel down below and the entrance up top. So that was what it was...

"Alternatively, we could try flying, if anyone knows how to do that."

Bel saw the fight end and someone that looked like Vile from the Megaman X games but with different armor disappear. He went after the other into the cave. He attempted to contact the others with telepathy.

Bel with telepathy to Sky:
Hey, wait up. Iīm right behind you.

They could hear sounds at the entrance of the cave as Bel jumped down the pit and used his flying ability to make his landing safe. He then walked to thr others who were a bit ahead of him.

Bel: What was that battle all about? That guy looked like a Bounty Hunter named Vile. I saw him disappear before you guys entered the cave.

Bel looked at the water and then at the others trying to figure out what theyīd have to do.

Bel: Hmm, weīve to swim through the water, right? I donīt mind since I can create an air-bubble around myself. You guys want some too? I think itīd be dangerous to try to widen that hole as the cave might cave-in if we do. Unless someone has something that prevents that.

Bel hadnīt looked around the cave that much and compketely missed the underground city. His red eyes widened quite a bit when he saw it.

Bel: Well, it looks like we found Atlantis. He said that with a joking tone on his voice.

Jack: Several of us have the ability to fly.

JDavis: And several of us do not.

Draco: Personally, with this place being somewhat mechanical, I'd rather not take a route where water is clearly being sucked to who knows where for who knows what reason. I vote for the high road.

Teddylot: I thought people weren't meant to fly.

Zap: They aren't people.

Teddylot: ... I see ... actually, no I don't ... it's pretty dark.

Teddylot nonchalantly took the lead and dashed through the hole in the wall. Being skinny and of the two-foot variety really helped ... even being just under five feet and skinny was good enough for Zap to crawl through the hole. After making his way through and brushing the dust and dirt from his sweatshirt, Zap found himself standing on a drier path that led further into the labyrinth.

Teddylot: GUESS WHAT DUKES!!!

He spoke loudly to make sure that the others on the other side of the wall could here him.

Teddylot: ... nevermind ... I just wanted to say that.

Bel sighed and thought: "Why not?" Then he flew upwards until he reached the top of the stone temple and landed in front of the entrance.

Bel: Can those of you ,who doesnīt have the ability to fly, jump this high!? He shouted to be able to be heard by the others.

Sky didn't bother to look up.

Sky: I'm sure I can, assuming you're actually ontop of the place. But since when do you put a treasured item ontop of a structure instead of putting it inside of it?

He checked the water once again from where he was standing. Something caught his eye. Something very odd.

Sky: I see.... Everyone, be on your guard. Especially those who're taking the underwater path. Looks like the Iron Boots I got in Hyrule will prove useful..

And with that, Sky dove into the water, holding tightly onto his cap with one of his hands. With the aid of the Iron Boots, Sky slowly sank to the bottom. As he got closer to the bottom, he felt as if he had to struggle to keep his upright position.

If he even had a thought to go back out the water, it was too late. He was caught in a viciously strong current that pushed him through a tunnel and immediately disappeared from everyone's sights.

For all intentions made, the Mavis in reploid bodies can breathe underwater, and David's helmet blocks out water, and are just following you guys.

I won't be much active here until my home computer is repaired.

((Alright.. done with my short little hiatus from the board ))
((I don't think it'd matter, I'm sure he'd find some way to explain to us in very long passages on how he kept up ))

There wasn't much infront of Teddylot and Zap except for a slanted walkway that led higher up inside the ruins.

However, a robotic frog appeared out of seemingly nowhere and blocked their path. He sat there, giving them a cold, lifeless look... just like how a normal robot would!

There wasn't anything heard from Sky yet.

Bel noticed the noises on the other side of the hole and tried to look through it

Bel: What the hell was that? It sounded like a frog. He didnīt have enough time to see anything until he got an ass-load of water on him. He was completely soaked.

Bel: Glud glub. *cough* What the hell are you guys doing on the other side!?

He then made an attempt to squeeze the water out of his robe. He came to think about that he could use magic to make it dry faster. He summoned a small fire in his right hand and held it close to the robe.

Bel: We have an important mission and they play with water.
