The best text editor is WindHex32 with a table file loaded. The text editors for the Pokemon games were always lacking, they can't even manipulate the pointers, what the point of a text editor that doesn't change pointers?

That and they're horribly buggy. Of course, Pokémon's text format is damn complicated, since the text is embedded right in the script code. Easy to edit in hex, hard to make an editor for.

Also, Translhextion and Hexecute.
