Ah, my yearly St Patricks day thread. Only thing that keeps me coming back to this dump >8(. Well, it's like 00:00 here in Ireland so I guess St Patricks has begun 
FREE BEER AND WOMEN FOR ALL! Oh, and does anyone have anything planned? Might actually BE irish this year and drink like a fish

I had originally wanted to try to go to Ireland today, but I didn't start planning until too late, and all the flights and hostels and hotels were booked 
Once my paper is done, and when the evening comes, I think I'll go to an Irish pub here in Oxford...since there's got to be one somewhere. |

Friday will probably be a good party night in Montreal but the big event is Sunday, when we hold the annual parade. Full of festive cheer and a few hundred thousand people on the streets... yes, we take the parade seriously. |

| According to the people in the eating hall in the college I'm affiliated with, there aren't any good Irish pubs in Oxford, because, and I quote, "the Brits are scared as hell of the Irish"...but I'm sure there's SOMETHING of an Irish pub around here.
And Guinness is good. I've had a lot of different beers since I've been here, and even compared to all of them, very much world class. |

Sadly, it seems most of the people in the house here partied last night...which means they're tired today, and they have to work, and many of them will probably be asking for extensions on their final papers. I had shut myself in last night so I could do my work, which I did, though I didn't sleep, so I could be relaxed today and party tonight. At this rate, though, there'll be no one who's up to partying... |
