| So. I'm in love with this girl. She is completely oblivious to it. She used to go out with me. Now she's always hugging me and kissing me... I don't know what to think. It's tearing me up inside, though. Any advice on what to do?

If she's always hugging and kissing you, I don't think she's oblivious. 
Ever try talking to her? Let her know you like her as much more than friends, see what she says. If she's not up for it, at least you can stop "wondering what to do" now, rather than months from now when you've fallen for her even more. |

Warning: Not actual advice. The correct answer is talk to her, be all "hey, whats up here, we used to go out, and now you're acting all flirty and stuff towards me. Are you interested, because I am, and while I'd love it if you were still interested too, if you're not you should stop messing with my damn emotions like that. ...you fucking cocktease" There's no other possible answer here except TALK TO HER. It might be easier after a couple of drinks... not so much that you're both out of it, just enough that despite that fact that you both have all your free will, you can talk more openly and be kind of emotionally cushioned. | Okay... So I didn't explain this too well I don't think. I'll just give the long version of the story.
In July of 2005, I met Kelsey. She's amazing. She's beautiful, smart, funny, passionate, a bit of a dork, and most importantly, she's one of the nicest people that I've ever met in my life. It was almost immediately after meeting her that I began to find myself having stronger feelings than just liking her. I had fallen in love. We went out for almost 4 months. She never told me she loved me. She never did anything like put my name on her AIM or even change her status on Myspace. Well... Christmas Day, she left me for a guy named Jim. I went from Jan 1 - Jan 28 without speaking to her. I hated her. She had broken my heart. Well, Jim broke up with her for another girl. Karma, I guess.. Getting her back. Soon after that, though, she started going out with Cori. Now, I hear about them all the time. Her friends always tell me about how they are always holding hands or making out at school. And his name is everywhere. Her Myspace. Her AIM. Everywhere. Now, I'm a bit jealous. Not because he is better than me. But because the only thing he has that I don't have is the one thing I want more than anything else in the world. Her. Well. We started talking again. Now, I'll go and pick her up from school every once and a while. She always holds my hand. And lays her head on my shoulder. And kisses me. And hugs me. She was never like that before. (Though we were sexually active, we never did much other than have sex.) I don't get it. She is always calling me and telling me she loves me or leaving me comments on Myspace. I don't know what to do anymore. That is why I'm so confused. I mean I love her. And I love it when she is sweet like that to me. But I know deep down it doesn't really mean anything, because no matter how I look at it, she's still going out with Cori. That's why I don't know what to do anymore. -JeffreyGlen- |

| You still need to talk to her. Even after your revised story, Arwon's post is still pretty accurate. If she says she doesn't want to date you, then you need to let her go. But it's possible she changed her mind about you, and there's nothing saying she won't leave the other guy. But if you're going to let her drag you along because you like the random nice moments... that's a big no. |
