| OoC: Do it after the battle.
Mel jumped down from the tree and violently lashed out at one of the demonic tigers. Mel's Thoughts: "Whoever this old man is, he's strong..." Mel seemed to ride on the wind gracefully as she attack feircely. Her blade was strengthened with the power of law, perfect against demons and those of dark power, although it is rather weak against evil/dark directly. |

| Mel's blade cleaved one tigers apart, but the other was dismissed by Gunnar, who simply uttered, "This is my fight. No intruptions." He shifted to an unarmed stance, the skin of his arms rippling from his anger, waiting for Mel to answer his question, leave, or join the ranks of those who attacked his family. Dead. | |||

Mel ran towards Gunnar at a much faster pace than she'd done previous and lunged at him, thrusting her sword forward as she got close enough. |

| Gunnar jumped back onto a tree's branches to avoid the stab. Gunnar's voice was perfectly calm as he replied, "Fine. No holding back."
He let loose a roar as his skin shifted and bones cracked. His posture hunched over as white fur sprouted over his body and his bones shifted form. The branch snapped under Gunnar's weight, but he landed on the ground without a sound. As Gunnar finished his transformation, Mel stood in front of what looked like a large, humanoid white lion, standing in a flawless unarmed stance, claws ready to rip something to threads. The only abnormal thing about his appearance was that the palms of his hands were where the back of the hand would be on a human. "Leirith vur *loreat*, pothoc munthrek." |

| Mel: "A beastman!"
Mel didn't waste time, she knew tigers were fast to attack. She cut through the tree with her sword and then jumped at Gunnar, trying to intercept him and stab his shoulder. This would be a battle of reactions, she had to predict his next move or she could be ripped to shreads in no time. |

| Mel knew the attack was going to hit her when her sword wouldn't come out of Gunnar's shoulder easily. She was hit, but as soon as she hit the ground, she moved away, ripping her sword out of Gunnar's shoulder. She'd just narrowly escaped having a rib broken.
Mel: "Not much for words anymore?" Mel tried to look for an opening, but she couldn't find any, as long as he was like this, he would take damage just to deal it. She had to be able to strike and get away, but he was to fast to let that happen easily. |

OOC: Sorry for the slow replies, Suikoden V and Kingdom Hearts 2 are stealing my time. 
Gunnar, ignoring the bleeding would in his arm for now, began to make arcane gestures with his wounded arm, keeping his good arm ready to block any attack Mel might use. Energy circled his hand as the clouds began to part. |

Mel saw her opening and rushed in at Gunnar. She leaped into the air, jumped from a tree branch to go behind Gunnar and leaped straight to the ground. She jumped right towards Gunnar, hoping to catch him completely off guard with a thrust straight to his back. |

| OOC: Out of what I've played of it so far, it reminds me more of the first two than anything. Which is a good thing.
Gunnar saw Mel move, but in his wounded and casting state, could not avoid the full attack. He took the sword stab to his left side, and finished his spell with a spin, which could wrech the sword from Mel's hands, and a backhand aimed at her head. "*Aropossixen*!" Gunnar yelled, as the sky split open and fire and brimstone rained from the heavens. OOC: He can only do this once a fight, and is more-or-less 6 spells at once. 20 meteors are falling spread around Gunnar, and when they hit anything, they will each explode in a 40-foot radius explosion. |

Mel didn't have any chance at holding onto her sword and being left vulnerable in the air wasn't going to help her any either. Gunnar's back hand threw her aside right into a tree. She hit the tree with her back and seemed to freeze in the air. She didn't even have a chance to move before a meteorite landed right in front of her, exploding and sending her and the tree flying backwards. Mel somehow ended up at the top of a pile of trees as the meteors sent shrapnel of rock and splinters in her direction. She was about to raise some barrier, but without her sword she had to improvise. She lifted a wall of rock from the ground to block the shrapnel. After a second of getting loose of the tree branches, she stumbled and leaned against the rock wall, panting heavily. She noticed that her law form had been dispelled by the damage she'd taken and that she was probably a mess. Her armor was scorched and she was covered by leaves and twigs. She didn't want to think about how her hair looked. |

| Gunnar wasn't looking much better, though his meteors were spaced to not hit him. He was covered in dust and leaves, and both his left arm and the sword in his side dripped with blood. The sword was pulled out with a grunt and thrown away, into the rubble away from Mel.
I'll deal with my wounds later, need to finish this fight before my backup spells go off. He grabbed his staff again and entered a defensive stance, waiting for Mel to come from behind her wall. OOC: The backup spells would pull him from the fight. |

| Mel turned around and touched the wall with her open palm. A nice weapon if she applied some force to it, let's see what Gunnar could do with this. Mel pushed her hand into the stone and the entire wall exploded towards Gunnar, at the same time Mel started to run towards her sword, hoping to get it before Gunnar was finished guarding against her attack. | |||

| Gunnar leapt into the air, over the attack and Mel, and dropped a small red orb towards her weapon. It was only a normal fireball, but it would explode on contact with the ground. | |||

| Mel dived and grabbed her sword just before the fire ball. She swung her sword out to hit the fire ball away, but she didn't realize it would explode on impact and lost her sword as it stabbed into a tree. She was sent skidding across the ground, into a pool of mud that her own rain formed. She stood up and almost dashed to her sword, but she had a better idea. She picked up some mud and formed it into a ball, more mud magically lifted into the air and the mud ball reached the size of her head. She hurled it at Gunnar and then leaped over to her sword, yanking it out of the tree. | |||

| Mel leaped at Gunnar, putting all her weight, all her momentum, and all her strength into an over head slash. She knew that this was a one shot deal, if she missed, she could expect a heavy counter attack, but if she hit, she might beat Gunnar. | |||
