Even if they aren't ready, I can stall for time." Lunari: "I won't calm down! It's easy for you to say things will go right! You're to stupid to realize you're an insect compared to that demon!" Dracoon looked a little angry, but didn't do anything. Lunari: "Star better pay me back for saving the world, and if he doesn't!!!~Oh they're waking up!" Lunari rushed over to Nijote, glad to see her old friend was all right. Nijote: "Lunari... You're losing your touch... I can tell you bound my legs with your magic. Release it now, we need to get going." Lunari: "Nijote... maybe... you shouldn't go, you've been under a lot of stress lately, and I'm not sure you can take anymore... Your mind is in shambles, your physical body has started to age at an incred~~" Nijote: "Shut up!" There was an odd silence for a second, and Nijote got up and started walking, breaking the magical restraints with sheer will power. Nijote and in her mind, her mother's voice: "As long as I can secure a future for my child, it doesn't matter what I have to go through." Raiko had a huge "what the fucking hell" look come over his face. Dracoon didn't seem disturbed one bit, and Lunari tried to shush her. Lunari *whipering to Nijote*: "The reason I'm so worried is that if you get banged up to badly, you'll probabdy miss carry, so just shush up about all of this. If Janus heard you, he'd probably refuse your help!" Nijote sighed, she wasn't sure if Janus or Garro was awake yet, it'll really depend on their own ability to recover after all. Far Future Star: "Damnit more pests!" Odin and Fenrir stood in front of Far Future Star, they had join forces to fight the only thing that could be considered a risk to them at this time. Odin: "Yeah, sorry, but you aren't welcomed in OUR world." Fenrir: "No matter how much I wish to destroy Odin, I can't allow myself to die." Odin swung out at FF Star first, and even with Star's incredible strength, he faultered and was sent backwards by a normal attack. FF Star: "What... this is impossible..." Fenrir: "I'm only here to dispell you, Odin could take you on single handedly if you couldn't manipulate time..." Star grinned, then started laughing, this would be the first time he'd had a challenge in a very long time. He and Odin lunged at each other and began to fight, that part of the earth started to shake, making the not-so-far-off Nino trip and fall to the ground. She looked back to see the clash of powers and wondered if Odin would actually be able to win. |

| Lunari: '---arry.... Janus heard you... help!'
Janus stirred at the mention of his name... That had hurt one hell of a lot. It was bad enough that Garro had betrayed him, but now Kalar was dead, Nijote was still alive, and he STILL had to deal with that psychotic Star that was ready and willing to rampage across the earth and destroy the entire stream of time in the blink of an eye! He sat upright in his bed, snapping to attention and realizing that he was actually completely unable to rise, having been bound in place by Lunari's magic. Janus: "I....yggg...What is this...? I can't move! Garro! Where! Why can't I move?" He glanced through his field of view... "Kalar! Where's Kalar and Nijote?" Kalar: "Yo! Janus, Janus! I'm right here..." Janus strained his head upward from the table, and saw his slightly-more-undead-than-the-average-person ally waving at him from the wall of the Airship infirmary. Janus didn't say anything. Looked like he was completely fine. Go figure. Nijote must not have killed him after all. Janus had seen stranger, of course... But at least that explained things a little better now. He'd fill in the minor details later. Instead, he shrugged, laid on the table, and waited for someone to fulfill his latest request... Janus: "Alright, I can deal with that. So, why am I bound to a table and where do we go next?" |

| Dracoon: "We fight."
Lunari walked over to Janus and started to release the bind while apologizing. Lunari: "Sorry, I just had to make sure you wouldn't jump up and start fighting again." Dracoon: "Nijote, I'm guessing you have a strategy?" Nijote: "Yeah... I always do. Raiko will have to make the killing blow though. We just have to keep Star busy." Raiko: "Wait, why me granny?" Nijote: "Because, you have an ancient gun, even by this time line. It predates Star and he won't know how to work with it if he's just acting off of instincs." Raiko: "All right, but to fire a full bullet... it'll take me almost 20 minutes... at least for maximum effect..." Nijote: "I know. The rest of us will keep him busy for that much time, just make sure you hit." Raiko sighed, it wasn't that good of a plan, but it was the best they could deal with. Odin had kept Star on his toes for a while now, and all Star could do now was try to block Odin's killing attack. Odin: "Yeah. It's time!" Black energy swirled around Odin. Odin: "Ragnarok!" Star laughed and time energy flooded everywhere. Star: "One Moment." Fenrir and Odin froze in their place, that entire part of the world just froze. A single moment in history echoed on. Star: "I'll just keep them stalled until I'm finished." |

| Janus: "Ok, I think I---AUGH!"
His head rang out with pain and he yelled out in anguish as he felt the flow of time get severely disrupted a second time.... By this time, Garro had come to as well, and had been released by Lunari. He rushed over to Janus, where Kalar was already kneeling on the floor next to Janus. Janus held his head in his hands and shut his eyes tightly, trying to concentrate... Garro: "Janus! What's wrong?" Janus: "He's.... he's doing something. I can feel time being disrupted somewhere in the world right now! It's painful... But I should be alright for the time being. Just... Not very useful right this second." As Garro went to help Janus to a place he could relax in for the moment, Kalar looked back at Dracoon and stood up. Kalar: "We fight, huh? Alright, show us the way..." |

| Dracoon: "We're only a few miles off."
Nijote was talking to the captain of the airship and after a quick conversation the airship took off. It was high in the sky within a minute. Nijote: "All right, Raiko, you get off here, the rest of us are getting off about 10 seconds after him." Raiko sighed as Lunari started to cast something. After about 5 seconds, he disappeared. Nijote: "To the rest of you, if you have something you need to say, I suggest you say it now." Dracoon stepped forward towards Nijote as Lunari started casting the spell again. Dracoon: "Nino is still missing?" Nijote: "Yes... Anyways, we don't have time now, we have to stop Star." |

| Kalar: "I'm curious..."
This had been a strange little excursion... But quite a far distance off, another exchange was taking place... ----------------- Grey: "You're a fool, User..." UGrey: "NO! You're the fool, you bastard! How dare you banish me from my own creation! I have the power of all creation on my side! I'm almighty!" Grey knew he had to finish up this little subplot, it was the only way he'd be able to continue the story as it had been set so far. He stood, his feet lightly touching the tips of the clouds, floating in the air high above the destroyed remains of New York City. Once this was over, time would unfold and everyone would be returned to their respective universes again. Except for this one... "To think I'd be betrayed by my own creation! I'll show you the meaning of---" Grey: "YOUR creation? You don't get it, do you User?" The wayward former master of ceremonies, the previous avatar stood equally in the sky before Grey. There was no turning away from him. Alone, and yet together, they had fought for hours as the events below had transpired. This was Grey's one chance to align the universes and bring the story to a true head. No more bullshit. "This isn't your universe. That isn't your power..." Grey's hair waved wildly in the wind of the high skies... He could feel another being gripping his mind, taking his body for ever so slight a moment as a dark shadow formed around him. "It's all fake. When it comes right down to it, in his eyes you really are nothing more..." He raised his hand and pointed it at User Grey as the same black shadow enveloped the failed creation and consumed him. A hole opened beneath his feet, and like a trapdoor in a theatre, User Grey fell through it, a doorway to pure nothingness. "....Than just another actor on the stage..." Across the nightmarish world that had been formed of the being's misunderstanding, three holes opened... --------------------- In the Aztec ruins of Mexico, a portal opened and threw out a tall, brawny man dressed entirely in leather clothing, never allowing a piece of his skin to show. He looked around himself. The portal had worked! Now he could make sure that what happened to his home world would never happen to this one. He just had to find that place... --------------------- Out in the dark undercities of Los Angeles, another portal opened, this one from a man who wished to get home. Wires wrapped his sleeves and clothes, thin and fine, barely discernable to the human eyes. Wordless, with only thought as his companion, he wondered where he had landed this time... --------------------- Way out west, in the desert towns of Kakariko Gulch, a third portal opened, and a young man, a victim of his own experiments gone horribly wrong, realized that he had traveled back in time accidentally and had no way to get home. He studied his surroundings, and immediately realized what he'd have to do. He placed a pair of black sunglasses on his face, looked into the skies, and closed his eyes. A cold wind began to swirl around him, and soon he had a piece of ice to suck on while he walked through the sweltering wasteland. --------------------- Kalar blinked his eyes a few times. Had he blacked out for a few seconds, or was that just him? No, he hadn't... Dracoon stared at him expectantly, waiting for him to exp "Ah, right... Erm, what exactly will happen if we DON'T stop Star? Is there anything we can do to stop whatever events he's putting into motion?" |

| Nijote: "I'm... not sure..."
Dracoon shrugged. There was a sound of thunder, and then a beat up TC Star walked in. His body was rapidly healing as he increased time around him. Star: "Yeah, if you stall him long enough for the original Star to meet the Time Elemental, time will go along as it had been. I'm not sure if everyone will come back or the damage will be repaired. If you kill him, his power will disappear from the universe and everything will be reset." Star stalled as Dracoon left the room and jumped off the airship, heading down first. Star: "I'm not sure if anyone will remember this besides you Janus. It directly effects me so I won't remember. I doubt Dracoon will remember, but I have no clue what he is thinking... ever." Nijote: "All right..." Nijote ran outside and was the next to take off. Star: "Hey... you three... Nijote has a weird placement in the time line right now. I'm not sure what's going on, but even if everything resets, I'm not sure if she'll come back to life if she dies. Also, don't let her push herself to hard, if she gets beat up to bad, I doubt her kid will live." Star started to walk up the stairs. Star: "Oh yeah, don't worry about time magic fucking you over either, I'll be there." Star was out on deck and looked around. He could feel Nino's presence, she was down there, going to fight too. He couldn't show his face and would just have to act from the side lines. He jumped off. Dracoon had started the fight before Nijote even got there. He was stalling Star on his own with his beam swords. FF Star: "I see you're back..." Dracoon: "Of course. You didn't kill me." FF Star laughed and shoved Dracoon back. Nijote: "We should let Janus do some work first..." Nijote jumped as a bolt of lightning hit where she stood. Dracoon: "..." |

| Janus: "Right... I'll need some time to work this out... But if we can slow him down and render his lightning useless, that should allow us to gain an edge! Kalar, Garro! Take point!"
Janus clasped his hands together as his two compatriots charged at Star, hoping to buy some time! Kalar: "Right!" Garro: "Ready!" Both: "Moonlight Shadow!!!" They leapt off the airship and landed hard on the ground simultaneously, each taking up a combat position and preparing to execute a flashy double-team attack! Kalar blew apart in a stream of shadows, reforming himself in front of Star! Garro kissed both of his drawn handguns and fired a double-barreled blast of holy energy at the two of them as Kalar exploded into shadows again, this time enveloping Star within them. The holy blast hit the dark mass, and both powers cancelled each other out, resulting in a rocking explosion that threw Kalar out of the mess and hard onto the ground. A dark void began to grow around Janus' body... |

| Star had acted on insticts and was in a blocking position after the attack. He spun around and tried to cut off Kalar's head, but was stopped by Dracoon who had his beam sword against the sword in a second. Star put force into his blade and sent Dracoon flying back. Nijote took her shot and charged towards Star, landing a kick to his chest. He skidded back a little, but grabbed Nijote's leg and threw her. She flipped up right as she was about to touch the ground.
Dracoon: "Still strong... come on... Power Shot!" Dracoon shot the blast, but it was obvious it wasn't going to work when Star simply hit it, and it flew off course towards Nijote. Nijote jumped out of the way as it crashed into the earth, making a large crater. Star: "Insects, still not powerful enough to beat me..." Lightning began to strike all around Star, a big attack was comming. |

| Janus: "Void Crush!!!"
As Kalar and Garro jumped away from Star, each taking a separate member of the already furious assault party with them, Janus extended his hand towards the futuristic madman. Satchel suddenly appeared from out of nowhere in it, a glistening dark blue glow surrounding him. Janus leapt high into the air, towards the clouds that formed above Star in the sky. His hammer began exhibiting a Gravity Well-like force as it attracted a massive amount of the matter around it. Once in the middle of the clouds, Janus whirled around in the air, turning the thunderstorm into a tornado that sucked into Satchel as Janus hung suspended above Star. He hurled his hammer straight downward, the power of the Void giving it deadly force. Whether it hit Star or hit the ground, the matter that had gathered inside of the hammer-well jarred enough that it blew outward, causing a massive antimatter explosion! Janus landed on the ground and called Satchel back to him, immediately beginning to summon more Void energy as the deep purple glow overtook him again. |

| Before Janus got the attack off, time froze. Far Future Star laughed, the attack would be very easy to dodge. Star tried to take a step, but realized he couldn't move his feet!
(TC) Star: "Damnit... I couldn't stop him... He's to strong..." A few moments passed with (FF) Star trying to break free of the paralysis. (Adult) Luke: "Star! This is my world! You don't mess with my world, ever!" Blazing music notes appeared all around (FF) Star. Luke: "I'd kill you now if it wouldn't upset the balance between everyone, some important events need to happen after all." Star: "You bastard... I've suffered far longer than you, grant me my death or go away!" Luke: "You'll have your end at the end of this. No matter what happens, you'll cease to be, but do you know who will replace you?" Star: "I don't care, just kill me!" Luke: "It's sad, you don't get a replacement. You'll always have to suffer at the end of time, always alone, going through the life span of the universe continously, and eventually becoming the gaurdian of the universe, forever. You'll be just like me." Star was enraged, and then time continued, with Janus' attack hitting dead on. The explosion wasn'tas big as it should've been and formed a perfect orb. It was impossible to see Star in it. To him, several figures appeared, several people he would never meet because of his life, several people he wished he could get to know. Star's eyes focused on some alternative reality... A girl was crying, she looked drenched in tears. Sasari: "Dad... Nasir! Nasir ran away!" Star could hear himself talking, but it was impossible. Star: "He'll be back... He's just trying to help out..." Sasari: "But... but he said he isn't comming back!" Star: "He'll be back... He always comes back." And Nasir did come back, it was night now in this dream. Nasir: "Father... I want to be stronger than you!" Star: "One day, you will be, but for today, you need to go apologize to everyone." Nasir: "One more thing..." Star: "Yes?" Nasir: "How... did you find me?" Star didn't hear himself speak, and then another vision came. This girl was the youngest, but she was different, she seemed so much wiser. She was sitting next to him, perfectly calm. Mel: "..." Star: "Is something wrong?" Mel: "I'm leaving tomorrow... I'll find Schwa... he'll save you won't he?" Star: "Don't worry about it, your dad is a strong guy." Mel: "I know..." And the final vision, all it was, was of a woman's face, smiling. Her eyes were loving, and Star felt he knew her. For a second, his mind was peaceful, and then it broke all over again. Star: "ARGHH STAY OUT OF MY HEAD!" Star exploded from the perfect orb, and it fell around him. He rushed out and nailed Dracoon first. Sending him flying into the ground. He rushed over to Kalar, unloading a full blown thunder storm at him, and then at Garro, sending a shockwave at him that shattered the ground. He looked up at Janus and a seal of time energy appared around him. Star: "Distortion!" The time seal changed and went into a frenzy, sending parts of Janus' body all over time, causing massive pain, although no damage. Star seemed to appear in front of Nijote, who instantly disappeared. They kept doing the same for about 5 seconds, and then Nijote tried to lash out at Star. It was a failure, and Star had her around the neck and suspended in the air. Star: "What allows you to live? To fight so strongly!? Why haven't you died yet!?" Nijote: "Fuck... off..." Star tighed his grip around Nijote's neck and got ready to thrust his sword right into her heart. Someone has launced themselves into the way and parried the attack. Nino: "Star... please... stop it!" Nno let fire magic explode into Star, making him drop Nijote, and pushing him back. Nino: "Star..." Star seemed dazed for a second. Dracoon slowly got up and charged his own destructive attack. |

| There was a loud, wet smack as Garro's body slammed into the cracked ground, rendering him (as was par for the course) out of commission for the time being.
Kalar grounded himself and was immediately singed by Star's storm, his eyes glowing red and his steel limbs malfunctioning on contact. As for Janus, Star's time attack didn't scatter his parts as it was intended, but instead it did something worse: the Void and Time energies cancelled each other out, blowing Janus to pieces and making him useless--until he regenerated. Kalar leaned against his staff as Dracoon prepared to strike... Star was going to do something. Kalar knew it. He could see it in Star's movement and positioning. But he was too weak to interfere... |

| Dracoon: "Janus... let's see just how strong you were..."
Dracoon began to glow, then he began to absorb light. He was complete darkness. Nino: "Star, please, control yourself!" Star rushed towards Nino, fire began to appear near her again, it shot, Star simply deflected it with his sword, and brought his sword down towards Nino, it was about to be over, in one strike, but the sword never hit anything, it just suddenly stopped. Another flash passed through Star's head, this one was much different. ???: "I will NEVER allow you to hurt her!" Star looked around confused, this was getting annoying now. ???: "I won't let you hurt anyone here! Never again!" Far Future Star looked up to see the Blade Master, shining brightly. (BM) Star: "You will die soon enough! Just let them all go!" (FF) Star turned around, just in time to see a massive beam of void energy collide with him. As soon as he paused, Nijote and Nino had moved away. Star let out a scream of rage while the time energy and void energy fought. The void energy exploded, forming a small mushroom cloud where Star had once stood. It cleared quickly and left a battered looking Star in its place. Raiko: "All right, this is it Star..." Raiko pulled the trigger, there was no way Star could dodge, it was locked on his power. A huge blast of energy exploded from the barrel of the gun, the blast rushed towards Star, this would be the end of it all right now. Star's glow seemed to fade, and time suddenly lurched, in an instant, the future was back in place, with it, Raiko, Rhiea, and the blast of energy that would've killed Star. Star: "Damn you all... Damn you... This isn't over... I can still kill you!" Thunder sounded in the sky and lightning began to dance around Star. The first bolt struck out towards Dracoon, but a giant axe blocked it. Star: "What...?" Flames erupted from the axe, and a person was holding it, he lifted it onto his shoulder and looked at Star. Dante: "Ahh, what a waste, I thought he'd be as good as the guy I fought in the fires... Oh well, I guess beggers can't be choosers." Dante stepped forward, the flames on his axe burning brightly. Dante: "Hellfire!" Star: "Lightning's Rage!" Dante slammed his axe into the ground, and at about the same time, 300 bolts of lightning struck him. About a tenth of a second later, fire exploded from under him, turning it all into a huge pile of incredibly weird perpetual motion. Dante was sudden thrown from the back of it, hitting the ground and bouncing into the air, obviously he wasn't strong enough to take Star on his own. |

| As Janus' destroyed corpse reformed itself into a useable body, Kalar limped forward, his steel leg spasming every so often. His arm, luckily, seemed to have suffered minimal damage, but he was taking a definite mobility loss until he could put a spare on that foot.
He reached into his inventory, and pulled out a limp cybernetic part, defying the laws of spatial physics for a few seconds as he replaced the bad leg with the good one. He stuffed the bad leg back into his inventory and for another instant, space-time blinked in bewilderment. Of course, the fact that this just happened might mean something reasonably significant to a being so infused with the inner workings of space and time as Star... In any case, Kalar was almost ready to go again. |
