| I don't know if they have a thread about this but, when you click the ranks link There are blanks that are filled with ???. Can't you just place the rank there and let us see all the ranks? I would really like that. If not, tell me why.

| Thats the thing, the ranks dont change, and we can see ranks above ours as long as someone else has it, but even once they have it, if they go to the next one, then it disappears. Comparing it to Christmas present would be more like this:
You open a gift, you play with it, let everyone else in the world play with it, then box it back up and let someone else open it some other time. |

Meh, personally I don't give a flying fuck about ranks anyways, they change when they change. *shrugs* Which is why I've never noticed that a rank I'd already had becomes a "mystery" again. But I don't like the idea of abolishing the mystery entirely -- because when the Acmlmboard is "new" to somebody, it's one of those "cool" things... |

| Well, a rank you've already had doesn't become a 'mystery' when no one's on it...you can see all the ranks at or below your current level.
Even if the Acmlmboard isn't 'new' to somebody, it's a 'cool' thing what with these new ranksets. I went all the way through the mario one...twice...way back when, and now I'm using the Zelda one. |

| Any rank you're past is shown, even if no one's on it... the only way to really see them all is to be at 5000 (or, heh, be a full or local moderator...)
I'm not changing it simply because 1. it's the way it's been forever 2. there's still a bunch of new ranksets people can go through 3. it takes all the fun out of climbing them  |

| Unless you've changed it, I think the full ranks are only visible to full mods and above, not local mods. And of course, those with 5000 posts or more in most cases. | |||
