Hey paizanoes, it's the Super Mario Brothers Super Show! It's coming out on DVD at the end of this month!!!!!! I'm too happy to hear this. Happier than I should be. I'm gonna add it to my list of things to watch along with The Legend of Zelda cartoon which is already out on DVD. Now if only they'd release Captain N.... (edited by Christi on 03-09-06 04:28 PM) |

| So there was an actual set schedule for Zelda appearing on the Super Mario Brothers Show? I remember it being really speradic and random, but if it was on a set schedule like that, I guess I can only blame my inability to know what "friday" was at the time for missing it.
I'll probably purchase this sometime soon. God, I can still remember the cheap, 90's rap theme song. =P |

| If you have SBC Yahoo DSL, you should be able to watch Zelda episodes through their TV thing. I remember my friend telling me about it, and yeah ... it was -very- cheesy, even used sounds from the original Legend of Zelda in the cartoon.
Anyways, this is pretty awesome. I grew up watching this cartoon all the time, but looking back at it now, the two real life actors are a little scary. 
Now ... if they'd just release Sonic SaTAM on DVD. |

| Ok, on amazon the oficial realese date is March 28th (Only 18 more days) The show was based around a mixture of SMB and SMB2, the Zelda show is not known for this fact. (Might be a mix of Zelda 1 and 2.) The rap song was odd.
Lyrics: We're the Mario Brothers, and plumbings are game, we're not like the others who get all the fame. When the Princess is in trouble, You can call us on the double. We're faster then the others, you'll get hooked on the brothers. UH! H-hooked on the brothers. Yegi yegi, yegi yegi. Yo. You're in for a treat, so hang on to your seat. Get ready for adventure and remarkable feat. You'll meat koopas, the troopas, the Princess and the others, hangin' with the plumers, you'll be hooked on the brothers! To the brig! Uh, UH! | If I remember correctly, the Zelda series art style was that of what you'd find in the instruction manual of Zelda II, but the series itself was very much rooted in the original Zelda. There's NO mention of the Triforce of Courage, for instance (Contrary to popular belief, there were NOT always 3 pieces of Triforce, and that there are 3 of them is NOT the reason it's called the Triforce. It's called such because they look like TRIANGLES. The Triforce of Courage is mentioned precisely NOWHERE until the release of Zelda II). | |||
