| The air is quiet as Kire waits quite patiently for an Opponent. The Chaos Gate twirls in front of the long-forgotten Paladin Samurai, his signiture for moving around. The Chaos Gate has the odd tendency, when left alone, to suck in someone eager to battle. The woods around Kire are dead silent from the use of technology on a world where Technology is more magic than Science.
Kire: "Well, its been an hour. I assume the gates power will kick in pretty soon." Kire: It has been a while since I've battled. Now, with my training complete, I need to test my newfound skills. Kire: "Hmm... I wonder how Zeron is doing out there, battling Mavericks and all that. Ah, well, I'm sure he'll call when he needs me." |

| The skies grew angry. Clouds covered them in seconds and lightning began to disturb the sky. Some animals ran for cover, some larger animals shuddered. The Chaos Gate practically ripped apart as a large electrical surge emerged from it.
Star: "Electric Blade!" Star came at full speed through the gate and aimed his blade right at Kire. The electricity from Star scorched the ground where ever he stepped, and his sword was loaded with it. |

| Kire: Woah, this guy wants to battle pretty bad.
Kire quickly unsheathes his Double Koadacis from his sleeves and puts his left foot ahead, moving his right foot back, preparing for the rather sudden sword attack. The double blades collide with the single where the double blades cross, crossing only a split-second beforehand. Kire: Anyone else might have taken great injury from that attack. Fortunatly for me, I had my swords enchanted long ago to not conduct electricity when it could harm the user. That could have been a serious flaw in my defense. Let's see what he does next, he has already forced me to be on the defensive. |

| Star went past Kire though and struck at the ground. Normally that would be the end of the electricty, but it kept following along the ground and actually struck out at Kire in an arc. Star spun, sending dirt flying everywhere in a sudden wind.
Star: "I hope you're faster than that..." As Star's Electric Blade ran its course, Star leaped at Kire, trying to send an over head slash through his skull. |

| Kire: "Use not more speed than nessacary."
Kire slashes the eletric arc coming at him, somehow dulling its strength as it strikes Kire's body. Without stopping the slash, Kire keeps swinging, flipping the handle along the way. Kire's other hand quickly goes in front of his face as he watches his opponent through the dust that went into the air. Kire: Hmm... not enough time for a decent counter stance. Kire's left Kodaci comes up against the overhead slash, deflecting the strike a little to the right, Kire's body moving to the left, and his right Kodaci strikes at a viscious angle at the weapon itself. |

| Star: "Flash Step."
Star basically vanishes and reappears to the side of Kire, swinging his sword upwards at him. Star: "This is what you can do with speed, why waste it!" The ground were Star had just appeared on had a small scorched patch all around it. He had really moved fast enough to cause the friction of him stopping to burn the earth. |

| Kire: Can't... dodge that.
Kire starts moving back as the blade bites into his arm. Kire: "Speedy guy, the Lightning element fits you well." Kire: Okay, this guy really is faster than me. I'd better watch out, mustn't leave holes in my defense. Kire starts summoning magic into his body, jumping back from Star and puting his Kodacies out in front of him, Handle pressing against handle with arms extended. Kire: "We haven't properly Introduced yet, I am Kire Tajin." |

| Star: "Who cares about names?"
Star held his sword behind him over his shoulders. The sky started to get angry as lightning started to strike close to him. The lightning actually started to strike Star directly. Arcs of electricity reached from the ground to his body. The grass around him was burning. |

| Kire's body starts radiating with contained holy energy.
Kire: "I see..." Kire: He cares for nothing but battle. I wonder, whether he is evil or not. I'll have to check later, after my attack goes through. Time for the next level of attack, since he seems content on charging his as well. Its just as well, my charge can be used quickly. |

| A smirk appeared on Star's face and he leaped into the air. A huge bolt of lightning struck him and seemed to be absorbed into his sword. He swung the sword forward and as it swung, hundreds opon hundreds of lightning bolts flew from it and locked onto the Kire.
Star: "Lightning Fury!" Star seemed to float into the air as more and more lightning bolts hunted down Kire. It was like being striked by an entire thunder storm. |

| Kire: "Holy Ground Defense!"
Kire slices the ground with 2 slices, forcing magical energies into the ground and reforming the area around Kire into a White area of protection. The Lightning bolts strike at Kire continueally, though their effect seems to have less than expected. Kire: "Quite an attack there... it still deals some damage even through my Holy Ground effect." The Holy Ground seems to be expanding slowly. |

| Star: "You're just going to sit there? You're a fool."
Star jumped backwards landing in a tree, he jumped from the tree and vanished into the forest. Little did Kire know, that Star was preparing a much more powerful attack. |

| Kire: "Hmm... you seem to have vanished."
Kire closes his eyes and forms an obviously offensive Stance with his Kodacies, bowing his head slightly and unmoving. His Kodacies are poised at stratigic postions, apparently without defensive flaw while being offensive in nature. Kire: Let's see what he can do against my Counter Stance I've put up. This Holy Ground will help greatly for a little while, its lasting effect stays until I've struck my opponent. Then its effect dimishes at the same rate. If he keeps away, its effect will last for a while. The Holy Ground stops expanding, but seems to be getting brighter and stronger as time passes by. |

| Star: "If you just stand like that, you're going to die."
Star walked from behind Kire, he had circled all the way around just to blow his cover? Lightning energy was striking out at everything around him. Star: "Attack now and stop me or die!" The skies grew very angry and thunder began to block out the sound of the world. |

| Kire: "Time for a little anti-elemental magic.. NulShock!"
Kires body is surronding by a sudden surge of white magic as his body becomes more resiliant to Lightning based damage. The Holy Ground effect continues to strengthen as its effect continues to increase while Kire stays on the defensive. Kire: This NulShock should help with the Lightning element, though it's effect isn't as all protecting as the name might suggest. Combined with Holy Ground which has lasted without me striking for some time now, I should be prepared for his next strike. Unfortuneatly, That last attack he charged did do more than I lead on... |

| Star: "That may protect your body, but what about the rest of your equipment?"
Star charged towards Kire and there was a flash of lightning. Star struck as hard as he could against the barrier with just his sword. His strength wasn't increadibly over powering, but the sheer speed at which the blade traveled cut the air itself. |

| Kire: Opening his eyes "The Holy Ground is magic, notice that your blade pierced through the light, but all you really did was attack the ground that still remains underneath. It's only purpose... is to protect its invoker and any Ally within the effect."
Kire takes a step forward, using the momentum to propel himself at Star with lightning speed. Kire: "Ryuu Kauntaa Sutansu, Tokoyo Sukai Form!" Quickly, he slashes 3 times each with his Kodacies, each one causing holy energy to connect. The very air itself is being cut, creating a vacum meant to slow down and stop Star from avoiding any more that the first two strikes. |

| Star: "You're good with that sword..."
Star spun his sword, dispelling the vacuums, but he was still hit from the holy energy. Holy light burned his skin. Star: "Only the pure can resist the light... and for someone like me..." A circle appeared under Star, glowing black. It was a seal. "...the light runs in fear from it's enemy! Only a true hero can conquer both the light and the darkness! Seal of the Darkness! Break!" The seal broke and a wave of evil energy swept over the land, aiming to sufficate Kire in it's powers. |

| Kire: Evil! This being must be slain, for no hero uses the powers of evil for any reason. His purpose is within question now...
Kire: "You are sadly mistaken..." Kire sheathes his Kodacies and forms the Batsu Stance with his Katana as the blast of evil flows over him. Kire: It is strong, he has mastered the evil seal. If it wasn't for this Holy Ground, I would be much worse off. And that Holy Ground will fade soon, for I have struck my opponent. Kire stands, obviously taking the hit but appearing to take less damage than what was actually being dealt. Kire: "The Light annilates the Darkness, again and again." Kire Blazes with a firece determination and holy energy, the energy creating a tingling sensation to the fighters. Kire shifts his Batsu stance slightly... Kire: " 'Thou Shallt be Smitten'." |

| Star: "Only a fool obeys the darkness or the light!"
The darkness circled back around and started for form another seal under Star. Star: "The eternal light shines brightly, it's bright fires can ignite the blackest of darkness! Seal of the Light! Break!" A seal appeared above Star, it shined brilliantly and then flashed. The seal below Star flashed in it's own darkness. Star: "The light and the darkness co-exist and live in our world! Seal of the Human! Form!" Star's sword started to glow incredibly brightly in a gray color. A seal formed on it, a very compicated, but small, seal. Star held his sword out in front of him and prepared to fight directly. Star: "As humans we have the potential for great kindness and cruelty. This seal is made by my blood, your blood, everyones blood. After many years of living, you learn more about nature than you'd ever want to know. As long as you let the light control you, you won't defeat anything but weak evils." |
