Restricting the upload file type to zip is way easier for me since I don't have to care about different MIME types then. I dunno.

Great to see the ExGFX section up . One thing, though. Hidden Mario is now Ice Man.

Eh... well... I wasn't really satisfied with any color combinations I came up with, so I decided that they should be random.

Also... I believe that you can rate hacks now. Please report any bugs you find.
Thank you.

Random colours kill consistency though. You look at it and you see a big pink blob, and you know that's a block of level data or whatever, then you look again later and it's blue.

It's strange... but last time I took a look at the hack section at SMW Central, my demo version of "Super Mario Universe: The Millennium Project" was "Downloaded 1061 times"...

Now, either alot of people is liking my SMU series ALOT, or it's just a horrible glitch...

I had similar happen to me when the Commons was first introduced on 1.B (or was it when attatchments were added?). I forget exactly what happened, but I did something like leave it open in another window, and for some reason it just kept refreshing. Nobody could figure out why exactly the download counter was shooting up so fast.

Googlebot smacked, maybe? I know the ExGFX Workshop had similar problems in the past.

I think it was actually MSN Bot that was causing that, not Googlebot. A few things got hit, most notably one of your Wario tilesets.

Ok I substracted a whole lot from the counter.

Does anyone have some feature suggestions? Like, anything you would like to see on the site?

I can't submit my demo. It's the right file type and it's less than 2 MB. Does the submission require you to state how many levels/exits the hack has. Do I have to submit screenshots now? Is there some kind of moderator bot that recognizes me as a lousy hacker?

I believe that the problem has been resolved. You can now submit your files again.

Hi.

I have a couple of questions about submitting custom blocks to SMW Central I'd like answers to, please.

Firstly, are people allowed to submit a zip file that contains the bin files for more than one block in the single zip file? I have a couple of simple custom blocks I had help in making, and with the fact their functions are opposites of one another (I'm talking about the On/Off Left/Right and On/Off Right/Left Blocks, they are virtually movement blocks which change the player's movement direction when an On/Off switch is hit), can they be included in one single zip file, or do they have to be in separate zip files?

Secondly, if you're submitting a custom block someone else helped you make (for example, it was davros who helped me with the required offsets and ASM values for the two blocks to make them what they are right now), do you have to credit that person when you make a readme file for the block?

Thanks in advance.

Question 1: Yes, you can add more than one block to the zip (as long as they're related)
Question 2: There's no rule on the site about that, but I suggest that you give that other person credit.

I also have a question:

If I submit a zip file to SMW Central and then I decide to update the zip file and submit it again, will the outdated zip file get replaced by the updated zip file?
