Greetings and salutations, one and all. You may call me Kutske. I have signed up to this board in hopes of making intelligent discussion and perhaps becoming involved in the Story Forum and Sim-Battle Arena. For all intents and purposes, I am it and not he or she. Why burden myself with the acknowledgement of a gender in the gender-neutral universe of text-on-a-screen? I should like to use this topic to give a brief outline of my beliefs, so that I can reference you to them in various debates, rather than having to repeat myself time and time again. That said, let us get started.

• I reject the concepts of good and evil, in favor of the concepts of the positive and the negative. Actions and only actions can be either positive or negative. The positive action is contributing somehow to a living being. The negative action is detrimental somehow to a living being. Most large-scale actions are both positive and negative, in varying degrees, because an action which brings happiness to some can simultaneously bring sadness to others.

• The self is the most important thing there is, in my eyes. Concerning the self, one can be either stronghearted or weakhearted. To be stronghearted is to trust your own emotions, to be guided only by your own senses, and to live your life only by your own law. To be weakhearted is to mistrust your emotions, let anything besides your own senses guide you, and live by the law of another (be it the law of your country or the law of a religion). Truth can only be found in the self.

• Responsibility is something I hold in high regard. To be responsible is to acknowledge that you control your own actions and words, and to accept whatever consequences they bring about. If one is to earn my respect, above all else, they must be responsible. The opposite of responsibility is irresponsibility. To be irresponsible is to shift the blame off oneself when an undesirable event that was caused by oneself takes place, and to lay false claims to praise when a desirable event that was caused by someone else takes place.

• Honesty is almost equally highly regarded by me. To be honest is to remain true to ones ideals and beliefs in any company, never being swayn by outside forces. To be dishonest is to tell lies, to avoid truths and to decieve others. As I see it, any goal which can only be obtained through dishonesty is an unworthy pursuit, and any lie is inexcusable. It is true that lying can lead to positive outcomes, but I find it more noble to remain truthful and allow something negative to happen.

• All acts in which one human being ends the life of another human being is, in my eyes, murder. That said, I do not believe that murder is inherently wrong, which may be a frightening suggestion to you, but bear with me for a moment. If one man greatly wrongs another, and in retaliation, he is slain, this is called murder and the killer is regarded lowly by society. If one man decides to wage war, and his soldiers kill enemy soldiers, the soldiers are regarded highly by society. If you agree that a common murderer is worse than a heroic soldier when both have done the exact same thing, then you acknowledge that murder is not always wrong. As for me, I hold the opposite to be true; when one man slays another due to personal injustices having been committed, this is acceptable to me. When one man slays another because he is a solider and was commanded to by a superior officer, this is unacceptable (and furthermore, weakhearted) to me. These beliefs may be considered backwards in this day and age, but what can I say? This is what I believe in.

• I bear what my people call the mark of the clouds. In more widely-known terms, this is called healthy multiplicity (please read about it at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dissasociative_Identity_Disorder#Healthy_multiplicity). Clouds can change shape, they can be light or dark, bear rain or snow, but in the end, they are always clouds. That is how I would describe myself. Bearing this in mind, I may offer contridicting viewpoints at various times. Do not see this as lying, changing my mind or going back on my word, this is simply an effect of my multiplicity.

That is all for now.

Welcome to Acmlm's Board. Just as it says, a fun posting experience!

You seem like a serious one. About your gender neutralness online, aren't you talking about the roleplaying forum? Roleplaying is just what it is: roleplaying, so neutral genders are not natural unless the player would like their characters to be genderless, which is totally fine. It would be quite boring to roleplay with just genderless characters.

Anyway, hope you have some fun, and see you around.

Actually, if you take a look at what he's posted there, he's talking about the existence of MPD within him for collaborative purposes (read: rather than detract from his life they actually help enrich it, according to his culture).

Blue Falkon: I myself (aka Kutske) would like to be known as genderless. In the roleplaying forums, however, I'll utilize gendered characters, both male and female.

Oh, my apologies. I was in school at the time and did not have much time to read the post, plus the red kind of hurt my eyes, I blatently assumed you meant something else. Sorry about that.

Blue Falkon: No prob. And sorry about the red, but I adore it. Try adjusting the tint of your monitor. I've noticed that between my two computers, shades of colors are wildly different in intensity. Oh, and look at your post and the one of mine you quoted; notice the mean face in the quote? Try editing, and disabling smilies -- see what happens.

Huge introduction you got there. You look like a philosopher to me. But it΄s good with long introductions.

Welcome to the board, Kutske.
