The gyro controller thing is wireless, but it has a port in the bottom of it to plug in the other control devices, which go through the wireless one, so its still wireless, but there is a wire.

It is wireless. Thereare no wires between the system and the controller.

What has a wire? If you're talking about the Revolution controller, no it doesn't. It has a wire to connect to other parts of the controller (it's pretty unique) but it's like a remote. The Revolution controller doesn't have a wire.

It's the other stuff that plugs in to the main revo controller, not the other way around

Whee, confusion.

1) Rev controllers are wireless, but there are Gamecube controller ports on the console.
2) Things can plug into the controller itself, using a wire.
3) A rev controller, turned sideways, is similar in shape to an NES controller.
4) If Nintendo does release 64DD stuff everywhere on Rev, they win.
5) If they finish OoT's 64DD stuff and release that as well, they win even more. </dream>

There'll be a port for Gamecube controllers, but I somehow doubt Nintendo will release wired controllers for the system. :\ Just a hunch.

Wired rev controllers would be pretty hard to use. You swing it back to take a big chop with your sword, and oops! Plug comes out. And if they actually use some of my crazy ideas (see archived Rev threads) such as strapping controllers to your limbs... chaos ensues.

Also, I think the cord coming out would be rather uncomfortable when holding the controller sideways.

You mean wired Revolution controllers? I don't think they'd do that. It would be kind of weird... and HyperHacker has a point there.

I'm not sure... they might have some kind of attachment but they probably didn't even add those games.

The games are going to be a bit more affordable. God forbid someone wants to build a library of NES games... 20 games = $80? I think not.

you can buy a n64 working with like 50 games for Ģ20 now, so no point

And where the fuck do you live? You can't even get that kind of deal for a NES here. *notices pound symbol* Oh... well, I don't know that currency so oh well.

Anyway, I just found out that the REVOLUTION WON'T EVEN BE UNVEILED UNTIL MAY!!! When the hell is it gonna come out? I heard January and now it's like... minimum June.

But if it was released earlier, the price would have gone down by summertime and it would've been cheaper for you.
