I took a quick glance at an available game list for the virtual system "Revolution" to download. If you didn't know already, the new Nintendo Revolution will allow players to download a large list of first party Nintendo games from NES-N64 for a small price on the Revolution and play them.

NES - $4 per game.
SNES - $7 per game.
N64 - $15 per game.
N64DD - ?? (it might be $15 or maybe more expensive)
Backwards compatibility for GCN.
Designed for Revolution games.

The game list for N64DD (The Nintendo 64 Dynamic Drive) is very small, but since the stuff was released in Japan only it's very helpful for international players. One of these games include the F-Zero X Expansion Kit DD, a kit for F-Zero X which allows the player to actually create their own courses in anyway possible and make their own machines as well. You can even make your own planets for the courses to be based on. This will definitely be one of my first downloads.

I assume the Nintendo Revolution will be released in January, 2006.

N64DD? Ah, Dynamic Drive.

And I think that $15 for an N64 game is way too expensive. $10 would be much better.

IŽll buy a lot of NES games, though. And some SNES games.

yeah N64 games for $15...I dont think I could ever do that...its just too much for a downloaded copy of an N64 game...

also, where did you get the list, and prices?

Game list I forget, I was just surfing and I found it.

Prices, ummm... my friend told me. Just look on Google and try to find something.

You'd be surprised how easy it is to find stuff on Google. Did you try typing in something simple, like "revolution game list" or "revolution download list"?

I'd prefer to see this info on a reliable site first, which I haven't as of yet so I have to call BS for the simple reason that Nintendo's not going to be selling too many N64 games at $15 a pop.

The games are going to be a bit more affordable. God forbid someone wants to build a library of NES games... 20 games = $80? I think not.

Well only one thing you can do: go look for yourself. There's a thing called Google, it just came out yesterday I think, here of it before? I'm not quite sure of the information on prices, my friend just told me and he lies about everything, but I am aware of what will be on it.

Too much? Personally I find it fair, considering I spend insane amounts for a N64 game back in the day.

How are you supposed to play these games with a revolution controller
I assume they're using the gamecube controller for it?

Or maybe theyŽll release a new NES controller that fits into the Gamecube controller port.

For that old-school feeling.

1) Don't patronize people here.

2) I visit all the major gaming sites and blogs each day. If I found out about Revolution pricing, it would be there - not on some random Google site. Don't believe everything you read.

I think thats because so far they are only doing 1st party games, since FF was made by square, unless they decide they will do it, its not gonna be on there...no 3rd party games are confirmed if I remember.

Well of all the online store sites I have seen, and on the message boards I've been at, it says Dynamic Drive. Until some further proof comes to my attention I'll continue calling it that.

Colin: It was a joke, chill out. Plus like I said about prices, I did not find the prices online (please read peoples' posts before rushing to a conclusion, whether or not you're a staff member). I found the game list online, and I believe it was on IGN but I'm not sure. I said I got the prices from my friend and I have no idea where he got it so they're probably wrong. Note that this is not the point of the thread anyway, I just threw the prices in by what I heard, and I mentioned that. This thread is about the N64DD on the Revolution.

About the game list, they will most likely not include anything other than first party games. It's illegal and unless they go through a bunch of legal stuff, which they most likely won't want to do, it will not be on the Revolution.
