Hey, it just hailed!

I think that's the first time I've ever seen hail before.

I don't think it's snowed here since like.. 1920's...

I don't think it's going to happen soon, it was just perfect conditions for hail.

Apparently, the weather back at Stanford, normally quite nice, has been awful for the past week, and one of the main highways near the school has been completely blocked off by snow.

And it's been surprisingly nice here in Oxford.

Danielle should be celebrating now!

...As long as none of the hail HITS you, that is. Those SOB's can sting like a you-know-what.

Rain, rain, rain all weekend. But that's not a bad thing at all because rain brings with it warm temperatures, and as a result there's not a lot of snow on the ground.

Colin, I was out in the street dancing in the hail!

They don't hurt if you layer it up prior to going outside.

...Who said I was talking about hail stinging you all over your body? I'm talking about when it's windy and little hail pellets are blowing into your FACE.

No matter how layered up you are, you're still asking for trouble if you go out in that kind of weather.

Eh, really depends how big the hail is. I've run into a lot of hail, and only once has it hurt at all when it hit me, even in the face.

That time, though, ow. I got inside as fast as I could.

Okay, well no worries. SoCal hail doesn't hurt, I swear.

Quite a big deal around here, though. The most severe weather we ever get is rain. Even thunderstorms are pretty rare.

No crap, I got one on my nose once.

And at some places they´re the sizes of tennis balls.

That's... Inaccurate. There have been extremely rare occasions where they are of that size in scattered regions.
