All apologies, but this amused me too much to ignore. The top five topics on this board at the moment have a certain anguished poeticness about them when read in order:

It's over.
It's official.
I've been had.
When It's Over.
It's very rarely that I feel like this.

Sorry. Carry on.

In other news, the points in my rating are 666. Plus we had the spree craziness today. Perhaps it is the beginning of the end .

Well, Arwon, that's not particularly surprising that you might see that on this board. This is for rather serious topics that tend to stir a lot of emotions. And a lot of emotions, particularly in the teenagers/twentysomethings that make up essentially all of this board, will tend to take the form of things like that. Particularly because those will attract a great deal of attention in general. Or at least that's the idea. They may not when all the topics look like that.

Oh yeah, natch. Not making fun of anyone, certainly I'm the last person to mock other people's issues and relationship angst given the alcohol and confusion fueled mess that is my own love-life. Just amused by the confluence of thread titles is all.

I can see what you mean Arwon. Even though they're serious topics, that's kinda funny how those end up in an order like that. It gave me a good laugh.

An even better thing happened...ok, well, by even better I mean even more awful...when I was browsing myspace profiles, looking at some of my friends' friends and all.

One of them was really emo and seemed in the latest blog entry, posted on the main page, that this guy was considering suicide. Not a funny topic, of course.

But the ad bar, which is always there, happened in this one instance to have a Nike ad. And the slogan, as you all know, seemed to fit awfully well with the person considering slitting his wrists:

"Just do it."

It's messed up how these coincidences happen like this. They all seem to happen at bad times just like you are saying about the "Just do it." nike slogan and the suicide -bound emo guy. Just can't explain why it happens and how bad it is when it does.

Titles in the forum need more pizzaz... in some ways, every single one of those threads lends itself to the same, cookie-cutter answer
