| As Homer Simpson would say, it's the cause of...and solution to...all of life's problems. It's a really wonderful thing. While I realize many of you would be breaking the law if you partook of beverages with some of this wonderful stuff, I'm sure that hasn't stopped you.
So use this thread to share your great alcohol-induced stories when they occur or when you remember them, on your own or because of eyewitness testimony in a court case you've just come back from based on a night you only half remember. And I dedicate this thread to you, Colin, who suggested I make more threads, and this, being slightly tipsy, is what I thought of. |

| Alcohol... not for me.
But some hilarious things have happened from it. My uncle was rather trashed, had been drinking rum/beer/anything in sight for a while, well he got hungry and ate a whole bag of doritis and started to feel sick. So my dad had an awesome idea, we gave him an asprin and told him to take it with milk.  Less than 30 seconds later he blew doritos for 5 feet! | I've never been drunk to the point of forgetting what the fuck I did, though I do have one amusing story of coming home from a party and basically being unable to properly locate the water dispenser in my fridge (My roommate said something like "Uh, a little more to the left, dude." and we all had a good laugh about it). | |||

| Alcohol.
I stopped drinking it. Once, got drunk, almost made the moves to a hot, older cousin. Second time I got drunk. I threw up four times in one night and couldn't eat properly for three days. Luckily I didn't piss myself. Sadly for someone who grew up living above a bar I have a low tolerance to alcohol and its taste. |

| The drunkest I've ever been was when I went to a dorm room party and had five shots of Vladimir and two Zimas in about 1 1/2 hours. I was slurring my speech and missing frames from my vision. I watched somebody drop a bag of Doritos. One instant, they were on the guy's lap, and immediately thereafter, they were scattered all over the floor. One of the people walked me back to my dorm, and I managed to say hi to the RA like nothing was up, and then I proceeded to have the worst. Sobering up experience. Ever. Time slowed to a crawl, and I divided it between shivering curled up on my floor (I was afraid to go to bed in case I had to hork) and sitting on the toilet bent over (figuring that if I had to hork, that was the best place to be because I could just turn around and not worry about making a mess, but it wasn't quite the same as lying on the floor). There was a Stall Stories newsletter in the bathroom, and it was too blurry for me to read.
After maybe 3 hours (and no horkage, although I came close once), I drank an assload of water and Pepto-Bismol and went to bed. I woke up at 8ish having to whiz really badly. My bed smelled like beer from all the alcohol I'd sweated off, which highly amused me. I went back to bed and got up at around 1 feeling absolutely fine and clear-headed. Hooray for my 19-year-old metabolism. And I have NEVER been that drunk again. There was that time 1 1/2 years ago when I first went to the Rathskeller (a local bar known for its endearing "dive" atmosphere and $2 mixed drink happy hour) and had Randy drag me home and typed a very rambly LJ entry with tons of numbers in words that never had them originally, but I had spread out the alcohol and eaten first, so I wasn't miserable or anywhere near getting sick. |

| I had to go to a family function on my father's side a few years back and there was a cousin who... well... was quite attractive.
The good thing is that it was a fourth cousin and I think the blood's pretty thin then. And NOTHING happened. |

| Yes indeed, everyone is my friend, well, almost.
Heh, and about three weeks ago, I was out bowling and drinking with my colleague's, and I actually tried to hit on one of them (though, in a more jokingly manner.. I think..). And she is well above 30, and has two kids. Oh shit. XD And once, which I think must be my drunkest time ever, I was meaning to walk home, but I walked in the completely wrong direction for reasons unknown to me. The road was slippery, and I kept falling constantly, according to my friend (I don't remember anything about this part). The next thing I remember was climbing over a fence, walking through lots of trees and bushes. I remember feeling very exhausted, and seeing some animal, which I later figured out was a horse.. Next thing I remembered was that I was lying on the front porch of our house at what must've been somewhere around 6 ,7, or 8 in the morning, still unable to see things 100 % clearly. Dear god.  And the worst part was, I wasn't wearing any shoes, and I had no idea where the fuck they were. For the following week, I kept searching high and low for those shoes, but to no avail.
I loved those shoes, they were perfect (and rather expensive..). Warm, comfortable, and with a special sole that gave me a better grip on ice. Ugh. 
I will never do that again.. but there will always be plenty of other mistakes to do.. |

Lets see, my latest adventure found me at my friend's birthday party, where I put my own rules aside and I just kept downing jello shots. I had over 20 and my head was feeling it in the morning. |
