| Hello all.
I'm hunting around for a free web host to house some of my findings. However, most hosts I look at say no ROMs and no Hacking. This leads me to believe that ROM Hacking would be a no-no 
Anyone know of a free host that doesn't mind too much? I really don't care about features and adds, just so long as I can get my info out there. Thanks, QBRADQ NOTE: This thread posted here because of the specificity of the question. |

Most of the free websites are fine with ROM Hacking, as long as there are no ROMs themselves on here. Failing that, you could ask the owner of a pre-existing ROM Hacking site if you could put your data up somewhere on their site.  |

| Yea, already been uploading some stuff to DataCrystal, haven't hit RomHacking.Net yet though. Figure I'll upload a document there once it's complete (or as far as I'm going to go with it).
I'm looking for a web site because I am also developing a few programs to aid my hacking that I'll be releasing at some point (GNU GPL of course). Anyway, thanks for the suggestions. QBRADQ |

| You can always set up a page on some shitty free service like Geocities or Angelfire, as was suggested you can always submit hacks to ROMhacking.net, but you need a place to host the patch and screenshots first. | |||

| Be cheap.
Use ImageShack or Photobucket for your screenshots. Use Yahoo Briefcase for your IPS patches. (I think its called that) Edit: Just thought of this. And for people new to ROM hacking, provide links to Google to help them find ROMs. xD (edited by Jouw on 03-03-06 02:54 PM) |

| Something else you might want to try is not giving a direct description as to what you're doing. For instance; you could type game edit instead of romhack. Romhacking enthusiests will still know what you mean. Always try to find a way around the rules. Make them work to your advantage. Be sneaky. >=) |
