Hiryuu's still gone without a trace (no one's heard from him), Fyxe vanished too, Danicess is just plain gone...

The chance of any of those coming back is pretty low, but Hiryuu will probably be back sometime soon.

Well, Danielle, it's not like there's been a lot of activity today, you still have plenty of chance to make ACS without doing anything spammy, just by contributing.

And I tell you, when I get all the other oldbies to come back...which will happen, somehow, except for Tomguy ('cause he's banned, HA HA HA HA HA)...then there will be plenty of activity!

TJ had to move to another state and he'll be back when he can.

And honestly, I've found better things to do than to post here as much as I used to. Plus, there's not that many people left that I really got along with and talked with, so that's another reason why I'm not around that much.

And with the promotion...I have to worry about my store and I'm putting in 45+ hours a week and getting up at 7am, so I can't post as late as I used to.

Add in the games that I'm playing and going out with friends and spending time with my husband and Stepmania Online...well, yea, there ya go.

There's a good chance activity will continue to decline. We're well short of a self-sustaining critical mass, and have been for some time. The board's certainly not going to "die," but it would take some unusual event for it to pick up in activity again.

I've known this for a while (it's no secret), but occasionally turning off the spam alerts and just having fun ... is, well, fun.

I think the only reason we haven't collapsed yet is that we almost constantly have new people joining -- a few of them turn pretty good members and stick around, and it just helps.

Worst case, we try affiliating with various sites that have no board... but lately those are becoming very, very rare, with the whole "everyone must have their own message board" mentality.

Eh. I really see no sense in worrying over activity.

I believe the worrying should be done on the day that there is a 30 person tie for first with each person only having 3 posts the entire day.

Then we worry.
