I was bored. I was really, really bored. It wasn't the best I could do though, and the only thing it needs is a list of (in)famous banned users that could be attributed to the conditions mentioned.  |

Feel free to make pages about various games, especially hackable ones.
I'm planning to add hacking info for SMB and SMB3 as a starter, ROM/RAM page and such stuff that would be intresting for most ROM hackers.
My main purpose for AcmlmWiki was for ROM hackers after all, but I don't mind other areas that are related to Acmlm board.
Also, after a few days i'm going to tag articles that I might delete. Then a week after that, I remove them, unless someone says a really good reason to keep them.
I would mostly tag pages that could be kept as userpages, or pages that is just random crap. :/

I just censored some of the harsher words and added disclaimers to the fake links. I don't want you or Acmlm or Xkeeper or blablabla to be yakked at by stupid people  |

I'm still confused about the lottery, but now I'll wait until tomorrow before figuring it out...
Are there going to be awards for winning it at all or is it for when you are bored?

I'm well-aware that article is hardly "Neutral point of view" but then all I did was adding the category. And I know nothing about that hack, but someone who did should make it apply to NPOV.  |

And a stub for hacks would be along the lines of "XXX is a hack of YYY, for the ZZZ system" or something like that. As a bare minimum. :\ The more you know, the better.

Maybe we should have a featured article of the day or week thing. Becuse if we had, I would propose this article List_of_emulators to be featured. Becuse it's a good article, and set standards how similar pages looks like. x3

You apparently forget the a href, so it didn't link to the page. In any case, I'm inclined to agree with you for the article of the week. However, only articles such as that one (full of useful information), should be eligible for being featured articles. |

Also, I think this wiki occupied a little too much of people's posting today... 383 posts in the last 24 hours is pretty small (and way below average). |

Edit: Maybe you should add a description to the lottery. How many ticketsyou can buy as a maximum and such things and what they cost.

I don't think there should be a problem with people writing articles about themselves or their hacks so long as a neutral point of view is maintained and the articles remain purely factual. A wiki, as previously mentioned, is a source of true information, not a place for people to brag about "how awesome they are". That's a matter of other's opinion, really. It's up to those who moderate the wiki to make sure that this "neutral" point of view is maintained. This neutrality is one of the things that has kept Datacrystal.org as successful as it has been up until now. That wiki seems to be very well moderatied by those in charge.
I also don't believe that the Acmlm wiki should be a repository of hacking information, as Datacrystal.org already serves that purpose, but instead should be more of a page about various hacks, who created them, general information about the board and it's occupants, etc.
Just my two cents on the whole thing. I think it can definitely help to eliminate some of the initial "chaos".

Yes I do know about Datacrystal, but I think we have the ability to surpass it with some time. Keep in mind that AcmlmWiki is still in it's infanacy.
Also, when we got a few ROM hacking pages going i'm going to make a stickied thread in the ROM hacking forum... since it's pretty much a own world over there. Then also a stickied thread in General chat about it when this thread dies. (this thread is just not about AcmlmWiki after all.) |

Unless you can make a better 'page format' than DataCrystal, I'd just say to use them, instead... as DC does have a lot of information already (but that doesn't mean we can't make better templates and other things.)
Having lots of information on various hacks and emulators would still be a nice plus, though. |

| You know, I took a screenshot of the bar when it was still up, and I was going to use it on today's fad's wiki. Unfortunatly, I screwed up and lost it, so you'll have to do with a text article tomorrow... unless anyone else took a picture of it |
