Since there's so many of the damn things, we should just put them all into one topic.

And here are the ten commandments of the thread

1. Thou shalt not make any other threads about SSBM.
2. Thou shalt not say that SSBM is the greatest game in the world.
3. Thou shalt not make retarded character predictions about SSBM Revolution (for example, thou shalt not sayeth "MEGAMAN SHALT BE IN THE NEXT SSBM GAME")
4. Thou shalt post interesting glitches, matcheth videos, and character discussion.
5. Respecteth Grey, for he shall school you with Marth if he ever gets the chance.
6. Respecteth Kyouji, for he knows his shit.
7. Uh... Thou shalt not be stupid.
8. Thou shalt discuss tactics and strats
9. Thou shalt posteth interesting videos
10. Thou shalt posteth intelligent discussions of SSBMR.

4 and 9 are also kind of the same .__.;;

Anyway, since the other thread on the blackhole glitch has become a blackhole itself, I never got the chance to ask how you all actualy pull that off! I seen the video with Fox, Nes, Falcon and Peach in Hyrule temple, my auntie and I have recreated the exact scene so many times but we just can't seem to get it to work! The superscope part anyway.. how do you all do it?

Someone suggested in the SSBR characters thread that they should take out the Ice Climbers. Well, that person is wrong. They should not take out the Ice Climbers. The Ice Climbers are awesome, and here are some videos to prove it:
Double Vision: Ice Climbers desynching guide
Avalanche: Ice Climbers chain throwing guide

As long as we're watching videos, here's what Doc prescribes:

Okay, now that you've made my ears bleed, is there anything else you'd like to share with the rest of the class?

This is kinda funny.

Three SSB threads posted, reasonable amounts of activity in 'em all.

We decide that we don't need 'em all, and post a new sticky for all SSB-related matters.

It gets almost no activity.

The second I unsticky this (if I do, which I'm not going to), five SSB topics will pop up.

Well... I am just wondering...

Have any of you beat Event 51 without losing a life?
It is not that hard unless you know how to use your character and get rid of Giga Bowser before taking care of Ganondorf and Mewtwo.

It took me a few times in a row to get it but I did manage to do it. Too bad you don't get anything.

I did it with Fox, actually. His Flaming Fox attack does a massive amount of damage to all three of them, and it's very hard for them to just stand there and counter. You can also take advantage of the fact that they're so adept at edge guarding (Mewtwo practically commits suicide as you hang from the ledge in Final Destination). I actually took Gannondorf out first, then Giga Bowser, and then Mewtwo went down easy since he's obviously meant to be the support caster in the group. Without say, a hulking Bowser standing in front of him, he's more or less impotent.

Also, baiting the three of them and then just using Fox's pistol to clean them up damage-wise is a good tactic. And you'll never NOT hit Giga Bowser with Fox's Reflector.

Yeah, I did it with Marth. (Whoa, bet no one saw THAT one coming)

It's more or less just a battle of the computer is stupid and you are not stupid, so just be patient and killify them with tactics.

I once killed Giga Bowser with Ganondorf whilst playing on Hard Mode. Only got hit a couple of times as well, but I may have been lucky that one time. Barring that, I have also defeated him with ease with many other characters. Fox, for example. GB doesn't shield - ever. So you can spam lasers into the night.

I beat Mission 51 using Ness. All I did was repetidly use PK Fire untill their damage was great enough to be able to quickly whack 'em one with the baseball bat. He was the first character I used for Mission 51, and I completed it on my second try.
I guess that puts Ness as one of the easiest characters used to beat Mission 51.

I own this game! I can;t find a worthy opponent anywhere! It kills me because I want to fight someone that makes me sweat from my ears and bleed through my nose. I went to my local EB games, and this big fat geek worked there; I was buying some sort of game I don't remember, but I ended up saying something about SSBM to my brother, and this dude interrupts me and my brother; so I'm thinkin' "Cool, someone likes this game" right... and so I get to telling him that I like to use Fox, and he starts asking me about the Toward + B special attacks that they use on there; he asked if I knew the "trick" to going really fast back and forth, and I said "no, I don't I like to block, roll behind my opponent and smash attack a lot; sometimes I use the strong kick but not the one as strong as the samsh, anyway I was excited, I was thinking "He looks like he doesn't have a life, he's a geek; surly he's good at games; he likes smash brothers, cool this can be really fun!" So I ask him: "Hey, dude, If you want to fight me on that game when you got downtime I'll play ya', what do ya' think, bro?" He's like "Alright, but you're gonna lose"! and then he laughed the most geeky laugh I had ever heard, but no worries I was going to rip this guy apart of SSBM. So I was supposed to come back at 9PM, and I did. When I got there I approached him and was ready with all my gear(My memory card, especially) Instead of keeping this very important appointment; he disreguards that I took the time to come over there, and he goes down two doors down to the freakin' comic book store! I'm like "WHAT!!??" Come on!! So sad to say I am still without a worthy opponent; if any of you are good at this game, and you live in the Indianpolis area give me a call if you want to play my cell is. ###########; my name is James.

....So, how about that Cruel Melee? I can't get past 6 with Link WHat about you guys?

Y'know, I just had to get this out; in the new Smash Bros., they need to change Luigi's voice to Luigi; not Mario On Crack. Just had to get that out.
