I like to use chopsticks. It makes sure I eat more slowly... and they're fun to use.

I'm a righty. I'm trying to get my left hand to catch up with my right hand though... because I've started to play alot of piano. Guitar has gotten my left hand strong and stuff.. but my left pinky is like... RETARDED. It has no sense of direction and absolutely no control over itself.

Ambidexterous.
I used to get really confused with my left or right hand in elementary school. My teacher told me to only use my right. I asked, "Which one was that again?" and she said, "The one most people are comfortable with, left is the devil's hand!". I use my left to draw and my right to write.

Putting down the fork and picking up the knife, and switching again, is definitely inefficient, but I never really thought about it, at all, until I came here and saw that they ate in this way. Which is definitely more efficent, and I'm getting more used to. Not just for cutting, but also for helping to "push" food onto the fork such as rice and finely-cut veggies which can't be stabbed too easily.

Right handed. I use the right hand for pretty much everything.
When it comes to writing, I have next to no precision in my left hand.

By the way, I've trained to be able to use the mouse with my left hand. It's precision isn't as good as the right hand's, but it's good enough.

Eating habits:
Knife and fork: Knife in right, fork in left
Only fork: Fork in right

I have tried using the fork with the left hand, without switching it to the right hand, but it actually feels more cumbersome that way, than to switch the fork to the right hand. And I'm the only one I've seen eating that way.. but it's common in the US, you say? Cool.

Right handed.. Although, I still seem to be better at doing certain tasks with my left. Namely typing.

That's the way I and most of my friends and most people in general in the US that I've seen eat. Plus, on the info packet they gave us on cultural things in Britain, they made a mention of the way of holding eating utensils, which suggests it's different from the US.

I think this means you should go to the US so you're not eating like a freak anymore

Paradox: I am in the US.

I didn't know so many people ate that way.

Right-handed.

In all honesty, my left hand is extremely weak writing-wise. It seriously looks like chicken scratch.

Which basically details my handwriting, with either hand.

For some reason I simply can't write nice and purrty.

I also tend to write small. Last exam, Professor actually wrote on top "Please. Write bigger"

I think the most accurate response would be "un-handed". I write and bat lefty, but do almost everything else righty.

I am most certainly right-handed with my writing, as my left hand righting is illegible. My right hand writing is extremely ugly...but very legible.

Actually, Danielle, that's a slightly larger proportion of left-handed people here than in the world as a whole. You should feel honored.

True, but think of it this way! We line up to play tug of war. Lefties vs. righties. Who is going down? Lefties.

Yes, but why would we line up to play tug of war on this dividing line? There are far better ones to use, after all.
