I tried it when it was out at the place I work at but...I wasn't really impressed. I'd definitely vouch for it keeping you awake but that would probably be the only positive aspect of it...if you'd call it that. Then again, I'd be more impressed if they did coke with chocolate. That would kick ass.

I thought I heard Coke was experimenting with that too.

Note how I said EXPERIMENTING. They're not actually test marketing or anything yet.

...on another soft drink-related note, I was surprised to see that Schweppes is selling Raspberry Ginger Ale here again. I remember having it many years ago... really good.

You know, I'm not entirely convinced that adding soft drinks to a LOT of things would be in any way good. Chocolate coke sounds like it could be decent, but... why would the mixture make sense? Has anyone actually tried it? Just because they're good seperately doesn't mean that together they'd be good.

Actually, I don't know of too many chocolate drinks, much less ones that mix it with anything besides milk.

So uh.. this might've been asked already.. but am I the only one who always thought the normal coke is black? At least when the bottles are full.. and not backlit.

Probably. It's rather... brown to me. And translucent in the more narrow parts.

It's black in a glass but it's more of a caramel color. Makes sense actually.

Kind of like how raspberry ginger ale is REALLY pink in a bottle but light pink in a glass.

It's called Coke Blak because of the coffee that's in it, I assume. Black coffee. Coke Blak. GET IT.

Possibly. But probably also as a marketing gimmick to make it sound cool. They could have gone nuts and named it Turbo Coke or something ludicrously absurd.

That sounds like they'd be expanding into energy drinks like that one Mountain Dew variant, whatever it's named.

Which we sadly just got in Canada.

And I don't mind me some Mountain Dew once in a while, but I'm not going to touch that green and black can with a twenty-foot pole.

No Alastor, I haven't had it either, and I have no intention to.
Coffee and Coke are both good, but... mixed together seems wrong...
Turbo Coke would win, because no one in their right mind would think of that as a good name.
