So assuming Acmlm and others signed up the same day as the boards reopened after whatever catastrophe (which I'm not entirely clear about) occurred, as I just noticed earlier today, the boards have now been back around for 100 days!

Why celebrate? Well, honestly, because we use a base-ten number system and a big round number is here. But for those of you who were here the whole time, it's been 100 days since the crash of some sort, and for those of us who weren't...well, I suppose there's not really that much meaning, come to think of it...

But 100 days! Celebrate!

edit: Also, if someone wouldn't mind sharing the story of the server crash or whatever it was, I think that might be nice/useful.

I barely remember why it crashed, though. Congrats to 100 days, I guess.

Yeah. We also passed 3K threads and 1K users this week as well.

100 days for me. Hoorah.

I'll leave the story of why the board was restarted for someone who has a more specific idea to the reason.

I can say one thing though.

And he confessed that it was badly timed: the board was killed before the Death Clock reached zero.

I had heard about the Death Clock...but I just assumed that was a joke and there was some other reason for the crash. That IS evil

I think there was too much drama at the last board and that is what caused the crash.

100 days! Whoohoo!

And the death clock - X kept on accelerating it (by setting the time to explode lower), but accidently set it to go off in the past. And boom! Hopefully, this incarnation of the board will be around for another 100 days. Ideally more, though.

100 days, doesn't seem but more than a couple months. I must've missed the day the board came back, I've been registered only 99 days.

It's kinda sad when we have to admit that 100 days without anything bad happening to the board itself is a milestone.
