| OoC: We're doing a complete battle... damnit. Plus, I need a way to somehow apply my story and connect it to yours.
Nasir: "RAAAAA!" Nasir slammed his very large sword towards the ground, trying to hit his younger sister Mel. Mel: "Slow..." Mel side stepped, with an extreme amount of grace. She brought her small slim sword towards Nasir's neck but back flipped out of the way of a fire ball. Sasari: "How did you dodge that..." Mel gathered lightning in her hand and shot it out towards Sasari. Mel: "You don't try to hide your magic..." Mel brought up her sword and stopped Nasir's broad sword just in time. She flipped the sword up and hit Nasir with her hand. She then jumped over another fire ball and kicked Sasari in the shoulder, then she poked her temple with her finger, knocking her out. Mel: "They keep trying to stop me... But since we're trapped here and dad's in trouble, I have to find help... I'm the strongest, I have to go..." Mel left the barrier that cursed their home and protected it. Time moved faster inside, and it hid power. As soon as she exited the barrier, the world would feel her power shine bright, it would seem unbelievably strong for someone so young. |

| OOC: Okay, you gave me a kinda-tough intro to perform, but I'll do my best. The first character that appears is NOT who you'll be fighting. Good luck.
As soon as Mel leaves the protection of her residense, her energy is detected by a being... In 5 minutes' time, Mel can see an indigo wolf dashing towards her at full speed, in the distance. The unusual creature is coming from the forest... strange that it would be out in the middle of the day, really. At the very same time, another character, from far, far away, is making her way through the air also towards Mel as fast as she can fly. However, she's so far away that neither Mel nor the wolf can see her yet. Things are about to get... interesting... |

| Mel looked at the wolf, and just stared blankly at it. She had never seen a wolf before or even a dog. It was a completely new creature to her. She didn't flinch, or even show a sign of fear, until she could feel a type of what she thought was magic.
Mel: "It's... different... like its been tainted..." Mel looked into the sky, forgetting about the wolf. She could feel it. It seemed so clear, yet she couldn't find any intention in it. Everytime she'd felt her sister's or mother's magic, there was always an intention. When she felt her father's, there was always a certainty in it, but this one held neither. It was new and completely wild, almost as if it wasn't magic at all. Without looking down at the wolf, she took out her slim sword and prepared to parry. She couldn't detect any intention in it either... |

| As the wolf gets within 50 feet, it suddenly splits into a huge cloud of spiraling mist, and it's heading on a direct course to enshroud Mel. If that happens, things would get lethal for her...
...but it never gets the chance to happen. From the sky, a huge beam of white light coated in red Ether rains down, engulfing the wolf-mist. The mist wavers and dissolves, hissing like a snake as it does. The second figure is visible in the sky now. She drops down, allowing Mel to clearly see her. She wears white, loose clothes and a grey blindfold. Her hair is dark and long, and her hands flare with red ether. Clearly a Psi Warrior, this character steps off her crystal disc, and breathes a huge sigh of relief. "What were you thinking?" is the first thing she says. "That creature could've sucked up every ounce of mana within you in seconds! Good thing I killed it. You should be more careful." Pause. "What's your name, anyway?" |

| Mel: "...Mel..."
Mel looked disappointed, and she was, primarily with herself. She hadn't realized that things outside were so strong. She'd thought it was actually weak at the first look, and didn't take it as a threat, but now she thought she was wrong. She looked around the ground, but snapped her head up when she felt the "tainted" magic in the person in font of her. She clenched her sword tightly, she had no clue how strong this person was, and all she could do was guess. Nasir: "Dad..." Star: "Yes...?" Nasir: "Mel went outside... to seek your old friend Schwa... She thinks he could help you..." Star broke out into a fit of coughing and his voice became raspy. He was slowly losing his mind due to his sheer age. Star: "Why didn't you stop her?" Nasir: "She.. broke past us..." Star coughed again and felt his body weakening. This was troubling, she was only 13 after all, she could get lost. At least Star knew that even if she ran into Dracoon, that she'd be able to hold her own. |

| "Oh... Ssh, no need to be afraid of me," the Psi Warrior tells Mel. "I'm Allaura, a Psi Warrior. You may consider me an embodyment of Good. That's why I killed that demon so quickly. We're trained to do that..."
Allaura fears she may have scared Mel with her sudden actions. "Are you lost or something? Maybe I could help you, as payment for this little encounter..." Allaura knows she could just read Mel's mind to get her intentions, but she never does that unless it's absolutely necessary, showing her honor. |

| Mel: "I'm... looking for someone. I think his name was... Sawch... Sawch is supposed to be very energetic, wears some kind of robe, and has met my father several times..."
Mel couldn't bring herself to look into Allaura's eyes. The "tainted" magic was over powering just talking to her. If she looked into her eyes, or they touched, she didn't think she could take it. She was sensing ether, and it's uncontrollable, yet completely controllable nature was disturbing. Fire was fire, you knew what you would get, but ether seemed to be able to react to almost anything and change in an instant. It's incredible potency, and Allaura's, being a Psi Warrior, close connection to an entire other relm, just worsed it for Mel. |

| "Sawch... robe... Schwa! You mean Schwa, right? He's a close friend of mine! I'll go get-- uh... Mel, you're looking... a little pale, there... You all right?"
Inside, she can't bear it any longer. She quickly taps into Mel's mind for an instant... ...and an instant is all it takes for an energy feedback to shock her through the link, throwing Allaura backwards and to the ground. "Aieee!" Ether flares over her like a gasoline fire as she flies back and lands on the ground, hard. She doesn't get up. What happened was that Mel's mind damaged Allaura thanks to the "tainted magic" affecting it. |

| Mel just wanted to move and help, but she just couldn't bring herself to move forward yet. For a second she was paralyzed in a shocked exp Mel: "Are... are you ok? Come on, be all right..." Mel knew that Allaura did know who she was looking for, but if all her father's stories were true, she wasn't sure if she could approach him willingly. Allaura certainly didn't feel as strong as Star's magical powers, and Schwa was to be several times stronger in that aspect. Mel looked around to see if anyone was around that could help, if Allaura stayed down, she'd have to move her somewhere safer. |

| Allaura lifts her head, then slowly achieves a sitting position...
"I'm sorry... I let curiosity take over. You looked a little unstable, and I thought something was afflicting your mind, and I wanted to see what it was... What happened, anyway? Something apparently was mentally harming you, and still is, else I wouldn't have received such a powerful energy feedback..." Allaura speaks in a kind, caring voice, and it's apparent she definitely wants to help Mel in any way possible, but she's not sure how, and she's feeling quite fatigued and tired out from the mentally damaging situation she got herself into... OOC: Hmm... We seem to be writing up a strom. ^.^ I hope the actual battle will be possible to start fluently with this kind of creativity... |

| Mel felt another wave of the "tainted magic". She could feel her blood heat up and her heart beat speed up.
Mel: "I... uhh... need to talk to Schwa... My dad's having some severe problems, something is wrong with him... He's unbalanced somehow... Mom says its because he's been alive so long that... age is taking its toll on his mind..." Mel couldn't maintain eye contact with Allaura, even now, after she could accurately judge Allaura's intentions, and her power. Mel: "Can you somehow... contact him?" |

| "Okay... I'll try, but it'll be tough as it is..."
There is a pause as Allaura concentrates, for intense concentartion is the only way to conjure up another telepathic link after the incident. Then the link is made, and as this happens the "tainted magic" becomes VERY powerful... "Schwa, Allaura. You're needed. Involves Star. Are you busy?" "Kinda! We've got 20 guys handling a stampede of Elec Bears rampaging through Denjo Harbour! *urg!* They're really powerful and we're expending more effort than humanly possible keeping them away from the Power Plant!!" "Okay, good luck and hurry up..." As the link closes, Allaura holds her head dizzily. "I'm so... tired... You holdin' up alright, Mel?" By now, though, it may be too late for that question... |

| Mel wanted to answer, but her head was spinning, her entire body felt like it was on fire, and her heart was pounding like a drum. Her vision started to blurr, she couldn't believe what was happening. It felt like her very existance was under attack from all sides. The only thing she could think of, was that she had to learn this power. Her vision started to clear up and her body started to cool, even though she found herself on her back.
Mel: "I'll be fine..." Mel could suddenly feel the power all over again, but it was stronger, much, much stronger. She felt her ability of sense starting to lose control as it seemed to be dragged further and further across the world. She felt some sort of castle made out of an unknown material, and then a huge amount of psi energy, followed by the single strongest thing she'd felt yet. Her sense burned out nearly instantly, and she was left in agony from the feed back. Mel: "You... must be... demons..." |

"What!? What makes you think so? The Assets are the complete opposite of demons! That's it, something is troubling you, and I intend to find out what it is. Start talking, posessed girl!" Allaura's hands flare with red ether as she takes an offensive stance, convinced that a spirit is afflicting Mel. How ridiculous, really... |

| Mel: "I don't... have to speak to you..."
Mel struggled to get up, and had to use her sword as a crutch, but when she released some of her own magic, it blocked the tained magic. Mel: "Your energy is impure... and sickening... You cannot be human, or anything like a human... You're a demon, that powerful one is a demon... Whoever he is, he's been around far to long... to be human... I'll find Schwa on my own... after I take care of you..." Mel stood straight up as fire leaked onto her sword. A small lightning bolt struck near here, and as soon as it struck, she attacked. With more elegance than swan, she had closed the gap and was taking a thrust right towards Allaura's heart. Mel *thinking*: "I feel drunk... I can't see very well... I'm sure my moves will start to look choppy soon... I might not be able to win this... Please... father, help me..." Edited because of an "I" that was lower case... it was driving me insane. Allaura, technically just as dazed as Mel, brings up the best etheral defense she can at the moment... She folds her arms over her body, which flare with red ether, and the sword strikes them, doing some damage but not much. "The Psi Warriors are not impure. The Assets that empower us fill us with the holiest energy in existance; Psi. Maybe you're allergic to Psi... I dunno, could be. Now I'm warning you, I don't want to attack an innocent child like you, but strike me again and I will put an end to your assult faster than you can say Billy Graham." Allaura holds her right arm in the air, charging energy for an advanced Tech. She hasn't decided what to use it for, though... |

| The Psi Energy hit her again like a brick wall. She fought it off and summoned the electricity in the air.
Mel: "Lightning..." Mel jumped into the air, her sword behind her. This attack required a charge for Star to use, but she could fling it out instantly, although, not quite as powerful, and frequent use wasn't advised. Mel: "Fury!" Lightning struck Mel's sword and she swung it forward. With that swing, hundreds of bolts of lightning formed in little triangles shot out. They all seemed to home in on Allaura, each one was capable of dealing a paralyzing shock at about a .5% rate, and if to many hit, it could give the target a heart attack. Mel: "This is my mastery over lightning! I have 5 others I can use at will! Oh, and Billy Graham." (edited by Dracoon on 11-27-05 12:29 AM) |

| Allaura braces for the attack. "Mirror of Allaura!" (echo effects)
She releases her charged energy into a defensive Tech. A dome appears in front of her, which looks like liquid glass. ALL the lightning glances off the shield in every direction, making it a real hazard for Mel to dodge her own attack (though it wouldn't hit for very much, if at all, since it was spread out when deflected). The interesting thing about this Tech is that without the turn of charged energy, the lightning would've broken it. Charging up gave it it's luster. About 5 seconds after the lightning is gone, the dome-shield begins to quiver and meld into another shape... Mel says "Billy Graham". "Figure of speech," Allaura quietly mutters... OOC: Info about Allaura... (Her Profile isn't up yet, so here's some info for you.) A large quantity of her attacks are "over-time" abilities, meaning they take their full effects over many turns. That is Allaura's battle-strategy. The longer the fight continues, the tougher it will be to win the battle. |

Mel deflected each of the lightning bolts that were sent back towards her. After the defensive barrier passed, she rushed Allaura, trying to stab her as many times as possible. She kept the same balance as she had before, thrusting with all her power. Mel: "You have to be fast against me." |

| But the defensive barrier doesn't exactly disappear... It quivers, and, like shiny liquid metal, morphs into the shape of 3 glass spheres. Then, one by one, the spheres ignite into different colored fires-- one ignites with yellow-green fire, one with blue-violet, and one with red-orange. The spheres hover in front of Allaura and twist and curve around each-other in intricate formations and patterns.
The new kind of barrier stands between Mel and Allaura. Unless she does something to clancel or redirect her attack, she will hit the spheres and either: Red-orange --> receive above-average Fire damage Yellow-green --> have a good chance to become poisoned and receive low Non-Elemental damage Blue-violet --> lose mana, and HP equal to the amount of mana lost. And the attack hasn't even finished preparing... it just still acts as a defense! Meanwhile, Allaura focuses, and conjures up a wall of force to try and blow Mel back if she makes it past the mystic glass spheres. Not a super-defense, but it's definitely something. |
