| So I was up late last night, and I've been sick recently, and I had too much sugar in my tea... So I don't even remember writing this. Found it open and unsaved in Notepad when I got up this morning. Can't vouch for the quality, but I think it has an interesting mystical tone. Thought it was worth sharing, anyway.
Time without eternity Sunlight without dawn When the tide rises Will you be long gone? The stars on the water The skies lit aflame Everywhere, lights The darkness will claim Here lies a crystal Its surface broken The whole of it destroyed By the stroke of a pen Will the spirit die? The soul be overwritten? Not while the fire lends places to hide in So... What do you think? |
