"So.... what would be the deal in this again?" Marino asked.

"Didn't you listen?"

Marino shook her head. Zero sighed. "About the rules of copying attacks form another. Luckily I saved all that info Grey was telling the Veterans about..."

"So Mr. Grey," a robotic wolf walked up to him and looked up, "About those guidelines... what effects does it have on my owner's Get Ability Program? I mean, surely you've read the Profiles list once in a while if your bored out of your mind, and you would of noticed the details of Forte's Get Ability..."

"What are you saying Gospel?" Forte appeared beside the bioroid wolf.

"You know what I mean Forte. So far, only two people in Sim Battle City has fallen victim to your Get Ability program; the Psiwarrior Schwa, then that undead kid Jack."

"So?"

"So? When you first absorbed the Alpha Psibeam attack, you had also gained a few elements of the Living Assets, which by David's standards makes the two of you an Unlikely Duo when it comes ot teaming up and fight against a common evil force."

"...?"

Gospel shook his head and continued to explain, "You always said long ago that you wanted to be the worlds most powerful Navi in existance. Ever since that battle, you've changed much, and sometimes use the Assets in your programming data to guide your way in your cybernetic life.

"Now onto Jack... when he attacked the people in the FFA Battle with Polybomb, you only smirked and held your hands and absorbed them, though you took some good damage, and thus you gained Polybomb with a restriction of overuse quickly drains your HP. And for some reason when you use that attack, you use baseball moves.

"And with Alpha Psibeam, since your not a psychic you can't harness the psychic part of the attack, but since Airburst is a holy-type attack, you can utilize that part, which is why the attack is a shade of golden honey instead of turquoise... similar to the light of the sun in the world of Boktai. Also, using that said technique on Schwa will only have it rebound and sent back to you.

"And before I forget Mr. Grey, Forte's Get Ability is a very complex and specialized program, and as many of you know, his younger brother ForteZero also owns a Get Ability Program as well, thus why FZ has a LARGE variety of attacks known as Special Weapons. Though the only difference is that FZ only uses his if it deems neccesary, alas Forte here uses it whenever he feels like it, where it absorbing leftover data from deleted opponents to increase his level of strength by a small percent, or absorb bugfrags to heal his wounds and recover HP -- which doing so in a Sim-Battle is illegal -- Forte is a complex Navi... though, I'm sure you'll have plenty of things to say about that."

... And, they'll wonder since when could Gospel speak human language?

"Smart wolf..." Zero muttered under his breath.

Sky: Err, well, no, actually, Grey, like was said, the soul is normally closed, not open. As such, "relaxing your guard" on it as could happen in the heat of battle wouldn't really do anything to make it easier. What is required is in fact the conscious effort of the individual to open up his or her soul for examination, as well as the careful examination of that individual by the one studying...and that can't really be done in the heat of battle. Does that make more sense?

Grey: "Well, I was thinking more along the lines of a swift kick to your soul's nuts, actually."

He then reapproached Forte, clearly in his "Fielding Questions" mode. There was a look of slanted dismiss on his face at the mentioning of complexity, as Grey blinked his eyes, and lifted every table in the cafeteria with his mind.

"Complex?"

The tables lowered gently to the tile flooring, and there were slight murmurs among the nameless NPCs that dotted the room.

"I could write pages and pages and pages on why I'm able to do what I just did, but in the end it really only boils down to the fact that I can lift things with my thoughts. Now, I agree that your reasoning for Get Ability is sound. I have no qualms with it. In fact, I'm wondering why you're telling me its parameters. This is kind of like when I tell my customers too much information about the bike they're buying... Rather than talk about it, fight with it! I'll be much more impressed then. But still, remember! My rules are only guidelines. I'm hardly a master of this place, since everyone has the freedom to design their own strategies and abilities, based, of course, on the decisions of your proposed opponents."

OOC: Well, I'm bored...

While everyone was discussing about the guidlines Grey has set-up about Ability Copying, in an abandoned building in the cyber world's Uranet City...

"Dynamo... you sure that there is somethign hiding within this area?" Youko asked.

"Yes Youko. I was able to get some vital information about a large energy signature coming from this place. The Net Police haven't been able to do anything, so I'm gonna take a shot at this." Dynamo pulled out his pistol and loaded some ammo in it before proceeding into the old building in one of the abanonded areas of Uranet City.

The place had cracked walls, the floors dusty with debris lying about. He made his way into the next room, where he foudn a flight of stairs leading to the basement. Upon entering, he had entered what looked like a stone cavern, with sharp stalagmites hanging from the ceiling.

Littered all around were orange reptilian-type viruses. They were scattered along the walls and floor, eating up the data and corroding the stone structure, and some eating up other reptile viruses. He had never seen these viruses before. Of course, they didn't bother to recongize Dynamo's presence, as they ignored the gun-weilding Navi.

Once he carefully reached an even larger room, standing dormant in the center of the room was a very large black virus. Armed with four arms and segmented crab-like claws, large spines lining each forearm. The body was huge and covered with a misty black fur, a faint glowing coming from the stomach. Below the torso it was connected to the body of a freakishly huge blood red and dark purple tarantula. The head was huge, closely resembling a crocodile with four eyes, three horns lining along the sides of the short neck. About a hundred eyes suddenly opened all over his body, and each pupil fixed its death gaze towards the Navi, and the four eyes on the head snapped open, glowing blood red.

"Ohh shit..." The huge monstrosity raised its arms into the air, opened its clawed hands and let out a loud deafening roar, that shook the cave-like room.

OOC: Well then, fight me.

CrossFusion: "Great, nobody wishes to fight a copycat. I'm just willing to bet that any battle I attempt to join is going to reject me, since they obviously didn't want to battle me anyway by creating the thread."

CrossFusion: "Therein lies a problem. How am I supposed to battle if no one will battle me because I can copy their abilities? Seems unfair... you shouldn't get to choose your opponents if you make an open battle... and if I did join they could say I couldn't copy them and at this point that is a crippling blow to my strength. I have few enough powers..."

"Yeah, well.... with these new guidlines of copying an ability from your opponent, Grey is gonna be watching more closely now... and it was Gospel who asked those questions, not me... sheesh."

The biroid wolf only narrowed his eyes at the Black Shadow.

* * *

Dynamo leapt high off the ground just as the black monstrosity collasped on the ground, and only let out an audible growl, and no longer moved. Most of the eyes all over the body were shot out or pierced, and the mercenary was panting heavily. "Damn.... that was one tough son of a-"

"Dynamo, is it...?"

"Don't know... it should of been deleted already..." He then spotted that same glow that came from the virus. He inched closer, and grabbed what looked like a glowing sphere of energy.

"What is it?"

"Don't know at all..."

"Let's hand it over to David. Maybe he knows what it is."

"Right..." The beast then immediatly burst into a thousand bits of fragmented data, and vanished.

"..." Dynamo shivered before he logged out.

OOC: Luuuuuucieeeeees, I'm hoooooooome! (That is, back from a 2-week absence. Woot, simply woot.) I shall celebrate... in character.

On a side note, I'm guessing there's about to be some big plot thing involving Dynamo pretty soon. If that happens, I'm so totally there.

It's been a while since the famous-around-here yet slightly immature Psi Warrior, none other than Schwa, has stopped by the Cafe. But even rarer is the instance that is to happen today, an instance that Schwa would've never predicted to happen with all the mind-reading in the world at his disposal.

Schwa, Psi Warrior and Embodiment of Good, strolls through the Cafe entrance. On his shoulder is Solaris, a black Chao, with a spikeball over the head indicating its existance as a Dark Chao, yet with the face (and, to boot, the heart and soul) of a Hero Chao. The tip of its turnip-shaped head is red-orange, indicating that it's Power-Flying type to experienced Chao breeders. Strolling in behind Schwa is another Psi Warrior-- the just-as-famous-around-here Allaura, her long, silky brown hair looking as captivating as ever to behold.

With Schwa and Allaura together, there are one of two reasons. Either A) they're on a mission together once again, which is rather unlikely since the Cafe is the one place where nothing violent ever happens, or B) Schwa's actually taking her out to eat.

Why unlikely? If one keeps up to date on the latest Psi Warrior Lore...
1) Allaura is attracted to Schwa.
2) Schwa is indifferent to Allaura.
3) This instance could very well go against Number Two.

"Ah, this place..." Allaura starts, Schwa having no expression on his face. "I must've been stylish INDEED to earn a trip here with you, Schwa!"

Schwa looks back real quick. "Remember what I said? Don't tease the issue."

"Right. ...Still, thank you."

Schwa sighs. "A meal here oughta help me forget all my current troubles. I just felt it would do the same for you, since we've both been battling hard recently... ya know, with ol' Vixallion and friends on the run. This isn't a relationship thing. Remember that."

Allaura starts giggling.

"What's so funny, Allaura?"

"You're so quick to jump to conclusions! ...Gee, I wonder what that says about you?"

"WHA-- ...Hrm! Right! Well... You better have an order of food ready. Solaris, you know what you want, right?"

"Chaa."

They approach the counter person, who is, at this time of day, a female Yuke, looking just like most other Yukes, really. Neither Schwa nor Allaura nor Solaris can tell she's female by looking at her, but that's to be expected.

"Afternoon, weary adventurers. Requests, if you have any? We serve it all."

"Finally a decently normal counter person," Schwa thinks. He's not aware that some Yukes utilize mind-reading. "Let's see... I'll have a Lunch order of Farfetch'd, please, and Solaris here would like a Chao Friut of course. Allaura?"

"Atlantic Ambrosia, medium. ...Please."

"It'll be an honor. Oh yes, I believe you two should qualify for our Tuesday special."

"Which is?" Schwa askes, a bit slowly and undone.

"Couples get 25% off."

"WHAT!!?" Schwa loses it. Allaura bursts out laughing and squeezes Schwa. "Haha! See, Schwa, there's no escaping it! I WIIIIIIN!!"

"Chaa!"

"Grr, would you LET-- GO-- Ah. Erm, well... Yes. We're NOT a couple. I'm just--"

"Taking his girlfriend out on a date!"

"ALLAURA!!"

The Yuke nods. "Yes yes, I see the situation. By 'couple' I meant a guy and a girl of the same species eating a meal together. Please pardon the misunderstanding. Your orders are #88, by the way."

They go to sit down, but Schwa is interrupted by the Yuke. "And Schwa?"

"...Yeeeessss?"

"Please forgive me. This is the third time I made that mistake."

"Yer forgiven, dude."

"I'm a girl."

"Eep! Oh, yes, of course. Now I'm sorry as well. Haha... You're alright, ya know? You are alright."

He salutes her, and joins Allaura at the table. Allaura looks funny at Schwa for a moment, which Schwa doesn't really understand. "...What?"

"You're sooo clueless. I like it."

"...I noticed. Damn, why did you even go there back there, anyway? C'mon!"

"Here's a better question. Why not?"

"Simple. It's a matter of-- uh... Wait a sec', that IS a better question. But there's an answer! I just... can't find the words!"

"Just as I thought. Oh, something else?"

"...What now?"

"Why Farfetch'd? Don't you know they're endangered? I mean, this isn't even our universe we're talking about, but still!"

"You're living in the past. They WERE endangered. WERE. As in, 6 years ago."

"...Oh. Tee hee!"

"...."

~(( Maybe.... Glad to see that you've returned from your 2-week absence. Dyna-kun's character has changed lately... ))~

"Hey Grey I just thought of something. You explained the official rules (or guidelines) on copying attacks permanently, but what about my friend David..." Forte grabbed a remote out of thin air, pointed to a TV behind Grey and pressed Play.

On the screen it showed his friend David flanked in the Command Armor rushing through a flank of Pantheon Navis in the real world in the shining utopia city known as Neo Arcadia, as well as small glimpses of himself and the other Maverick Hunters, deleting all known Pantheon versions possible; Hunters, Bombers, Stealth, Hammers, Seraphs, almost every Pantheon type with some sort of weapon or attack pattern.

Then it switched to David whipping out his left-handed pistol. "Copy Shot!" He took aim at a Pantheon Seraph and fires a ball of energy that flew through the air, and struck said enemy in the chest -- more likely the icon emblem. Right away the ball of energy collasped and spread to a multitude of beams that circled the enemy, before all of it firing back at its source, which transformed David into a Pantheon Seraph, and large mechanical wings formed from his back. To tell the difference between David's transformed state from the other one-eyes Navis is that his armor is a darker type of blue insteald of light blue. Once transforrmed, Seraph-David flew high into the air, and told the other Hunters to scatter away, which they all did.

"Heaven's Judgement!" Seraph-David glowed with holy energy before he launched out a barrage of energy wings that sliced and cleaved through most of the armies in the ground, instantly deleting the one-eyed Navis in a wave of explosions, before he turned his attention to the remaining Seraph army. Bringing back his hand, he pulled out one large feather, and swung it before converging towards the remainign enemy forces. Using it as a large sword, he clashed against the 5 remaining enemies, being overpowered at first, but then he swung around, which slashed one cleanly in half before being deleted and forced the four to back off. Seraph-David fired out several energy wings which stunned the four, before he flew past, and they ended up vertically slashed in half before being deleted.

Pause. "Now Grey... Copy Shot takes on the form of the target specified, but it's only temporary. So, would the rules still apply to David's Copy Shot as well?"

"Well?"

"Well what?"

"... You have to blink sometime brother." ... David and ForteZero were having a staring contest, while their friend Spider was making bets for the winner...

"This is pathetic... clearly none of you won't lose first," Marino said, sipping on her soda. Forte and other trainee Hunters just watched from the bar, and Zero was no where to be found.

"Do Navis even have to blink?"

Jack stepped into the group, after quietly watching the match from a distance for an unknown length of time. He glanced from David to ForteZero, attentively noting the flicker of any eye movements and their subtle shifts in posture in this less violent battle of the SBA. A mischievous grin found itself traversing his face as he addressed the party.

Jack: "I challenge the winner. I can outstare him."

All present Navsi were in their Reploid forms, as David nor ForteZero shifted in their seats, or even moved. No one even knew if they were even breathing at all.... seeing the two sit still, not moving even a inch. Forte only looked over at Jack, seeing him enter the bar area, but ignored him, sucking down a bottle of Miller Lite.

But, where WAS the blondhaired swordsman?

* * *

"Damn it. Why do I always have to train the Sunday groups?" Zero muttered to himself in a low tone.

The Crimson Hunter apparently was in the cyber world in Hunter Area 1 at the battle area, watching a match between two rookies, and some of the other Navsi watching from the sidelines.

Jack looked crossly at Forte, the only one who had even paid him a hint of notice.

Jack: "What, you're just going to have this staring contest here, but not allow anyone else to do anything for it? What's the point of even mentioning it, then? Like I'd care about some reploids otherwise..."

Jack brushed out of the crowd and took a seat at the far end of the bar. He didn't order anything, but just took to examining a ring of his under the red light.

"Damn you," David cursed, not loud enough, but enough to get the cliché of the gang's attention. David was rubbing his eyes, just blinking to get them wet again. ForteZero was just applying eye drops to his eyes, smirking.

"Your loss." Some of the people in the background groaned, some of them losing their money betting on David, while others made more, but it was Spider who was enjoying one of his "get rich quick" schemes.

"You blew air into my eyes!"

"Hey.... you said anything goes before this begun Dave," the White Shadow said.

"Fine! Five thousand Zenny for a rematch!" ForteZero looked at him and grinned.

"Your on!" Marino covered her face and sat down next to David's wife.

"Men..."

"You said it Marino," the blond haired Navigator replied, agreeing with her Navi. David set the cash on the table next to Spider, and the two blink once, and their eyes remained open.

Spider, noticing the cash on the table... swiped it and put it in his pocket. "I'm heading back to Hunter base guys." The two boys didn't reply so he quickly ran off.

Forte raised an eyebrow, before handing the empty beer bottle to the guy at the bar, and spoke up. "Hey David! Spider went off with your cash."

"Huh?" The human glanced over, as did ForteZero.

"Hehehehe! This should be enough to get some new tools for Zekt's bounty hunting equipment." Spider was already counting up the cash, along with some of the winnings, walking down past Grey Avenue.

"SPIDER!" The purple haired bounty hunter tensed up, before turnign around, then ran for dear life, as the two in their armored forms were chasing after the card player wielding their beam sabers.

"You bastard! Give me back my cash!" Far behind the two, were the two females, Forte, and the three other trainee Hunters.

"Spider's gonna get it this time," Alia said, sweatdropping.

"Heh. You remember that one time when you and David were snogging in the lounge, and-" Before Forte could finish his sentence, Alia had punched the purple haired Navi over the head, sending him crashing face first into the cement.

"Don't you dare finish that setence Forte," she hissed at him before walking. Marino laughed, sipping her refill of cherry Pepsi in a large foam cup.

*kzzt*

*kzzt*

A light flickered. There was a slight nudge of a hanging, conical ceiling light in Grey's office, dimly lit and fading fast. Grey rocked in his chair, dozing but aware of his surroundings.

The light swung back and forth hypnotically, like a pendulum detailing the ticks of time itself.

Grey had been doing some thinking lately. There had been little reason for him to take up the sword. It seemed almost as though there were a new generation of fighters, and that he was nothing more than a vestige of the past. He liked it that way, one for the history books. Nothing more than a referee, now. Hardly a true warrior.

Janus had been missing for some time now. There was no use beating around the bush, referring to him as "that man" anymore. He had returned, and failed to impact. Another lost conclusion, another break in the tale.

Kalar and Garro had gone off somewhere, and left Grey behind to deal with what little was left of their legacy.

Evan, too, had disappeared, and Miller never showed up on the radar at all, anymore... Another pair of heroes lost forever in the sands of time, he thought.

There was, however, a piece of paper in Grey's hand. It had elegant, well-written language on it, the words of a man who still held a place in this world. It read...

"Dearest Grey,

How are you doing, my friend? I am well, though the desert sands do occasionally drive me to frustration. It has long since passed that you have contacted me. I wish to know, is there something the matter? I fear that you have yet to even receive my last letter, save this one for a secondary purpose. We two are all that remain, and your departure would surely be a devastating blow. I have neither seen nor heard word from any of my elder friends in quite some time, making you my very last contact with the past."

There was a slam of a door, and the dim light faded, casting one last ray of light over an empty chair.

"Alas, that too is fading fast. Have you seen anything of the old group lately, yourself? The tower of our friend Origin lays in ruins. That swordsman, Star, has driven himself to eternal seclusion. Even the good prince Schwa has had no way to return home. And Yiusi, poor Yiusi..."

Grey's footsteps echoed in the hall, as he left the Sim Battle Arena Annex for what he knew would be the last time.

"The ninja, Jarukoth, and his compatriots have not been seen for some time, either. I remember your friendship with them, the lady Kari to be most prominent. What a shame, that nothing ever came of it."

He entered the Acmlm's Board Building, bidding hello to the front desk clerk and pushing his glasses up his nose. He ruffled his vest, straightening it.

"President Melvin has retreated into Japan, yet again. Oh, for the wont of that force field to fall, and for him to bring himself to commune with us again... It would be a pleasure, even with the wonton destruction he would doubtless wring."

Grey trudged up the stairs, flight after flight after flight. Three, four, five, ten floors he trudged up. He skipped, from floor 98 to floor 100, remembering to tell no one about the 99th.

"Even the return of Skydude was nothing more than a setup for disaster. His attitude was not one of the modern age. We warriors must adapt to the new ways. We must change our mindset, knowing that there will never be a golden age forever. Such is the nature of change, such is the nature of time."

The final floor was crossed. The rooftop... No one paused to stop him.

"I am, however, happy where I am. I have found someone; She is a good woman, and I am glad to serve her. She has spirit; I feel she is a heroine to be admired."

Grey opened the door, and crossed the roof tiles, gradually passing the many air vents and skylights that were built in.

"Your other has given me word, as well. He says that though he has been weakened by recent events, his exploits continue to satisfy him to no end, and he is glad to travel with the old masters. I am sure, quite sure, that now would be A Fine Time For Some Serious Business. He would be glad to tell you that himself, but he has said something of there being far too long a distance between us to explain."

He approached the edge of the roof. It was a long, long way down. Grey swallowed.

"But I digress. We are in contact. Perhaps now is the dawn of a new age. Perhaps it is again time to cast off the vestaments of the past, and prepare for a new future. It is sparse, to be sure, but the barest canvas can often give enough room for the greatest masterpieces."

A tear welled up in his eyes, which glowed green ever so briefly before fading away.

"And who knows... Maybe a new journey will begin for you too, sir. I, of course, cannot predict this. Take not my words as canon."

Canon... Grey considered this. Was any of it worth anything? Where had all the magic gone? He sighed, stepping closer to the brink.

"Ah, it is time for me to go. I give you my regards, sir."

In the morning, they would find no trace of him, on the ground or on the roof. His office, bare. His chair empty. Grey raised the letter above his head, and a breeze blew it from his hand into the open air.

"Sincerely,"

A new journey... Maybe. He could do nothing for the world from an office chair.

"Johnathan."

READY!

A beam of light shot down in the ruined city, and broke apart and revealed the familiar form of David clad in the Forte Armor. The Forte Armor is a new form that David has been creating for months, and today, he was taking it out on a test drive.

"David, do you read me? The virus signal is coming from deeper in the city. The highway is pretty damaged up from the virus, and most of the machines here have gone Maverick due to the viruses plaguing them. So be wary of taxis armed with weapons."

David sighed. This wasn't gonna be easy. He dashed down the ruined streets, avoiding several spawned viruses due to the Dimensional Barrier surrounding the entire city. Of course, he retaliated when some of them were provoked for attacking. He then spotted a nearby green taxi cab which was armed with a freaking large bazooka.

"Holy shit!" He narrowly dodged the shots fired, but the attacks did wipe out the mass army of Mets. He took it out with several placed Airburst shots, before dashing further.

"David, be careful, the area up ahead is very unstable. The highway can collapse at any moment so be on the lookout for any giveaways." David nodded and activated the Omnishoes option, and started floating in the air. As he made it half-way across the highway, it crumbled and fell into the ocean below. Glad he's floating. All of a sudden, several Flyer Pantheons suddenly appeared, and fired at him. David swerved left and right avoiding the plasma bullets, before retaliating with Shooting Buster. The one eyed Navis were quickly deleted, as he flew forward and soon landed on solid ground again.

"The maverick signal is getting stronger. It's up the statue." David looked up and performed the Triangular Jump, running up the wall of the building concealing off the site, which went active and began to close. He made it barely, and went through the door on the other end on top of the building.

"WARNING! WARNING!"

"David, this is weird. The maverick signal... its right before you! Watch out!" The statue head started to crumble as beams of light escaped. After more beams escaped, it went into a series of explosions that blinded him. When the blinding light faded away, the statue head before David transformed into Sonance. Also, the surrounding area, the blue sunny sky was replaced with dark ominous thunder clouds, which sported the occasional lightning flash and occasional thunder clap.

Lightning flashed throughout the area and thundered loudly, as Sonance opened her palms and a balls of small energy balls erupted from her hands. David ducked to the ground and evaded damage before she vanished. She reappeared, and swiped her cloak before her, releasing an energy wave and a gust of wind. David was clipped at the shoulder.

"Darkness Overload!" He flew forward, and before she vanished, she took the full impact of the attack, which knocked three-fourths of her health off the meter. She reappeared before she shoulder-tackled David, which immediately went into a combo frenzy of twenty-five punches that sent him dizzily into the air.

(Near Death Attack - Summons of the Past/Present/Future)

She vanished, and then appeared at the other end of the arena, which she created a holographic ball of light, and vanished. The first ball of light hitting the ground revealed the form of Schwa, which who attacked with Alpha Psibeam. David was struck down by the attack, unable to block its soul searching properties.

The clone vanished and a second ball of light revealed Grey. The clone pulled out a yo-yo, and thrusted it which smacked David in the forehead by surprise. Drawing the yo-yo back, he thrusted it forward and wrapped the toy around his right leg. Pulling back on the metal string, he tripped David onto his back, reeled it back into his hand, and struck a pose before vanishing.

A third ball of light revealed Kirbynite, who used the Star Rod and released several star shots. David instinctively lifted a LifeAura which absorbed the fifteen separate hits before the Dreamlander clone faded away.

The final ball of light appearing in the sky overhead David was Zekt. The scythe wielding reploid flew towards David and spun the scythe with all the blades deployed in a vertical fashion, which struck the LifeAura, and ripped through it before he vanished, but David was left unharmed.

After a bit, Sonance returned, and attacked with Nova Force. David countered the attack with EarthBreaker, both taking damage from the collided attacks. She vanished once more.

The first ball revealed Harpuia, who flew towards David and unleashed a storm of saber slashes, but David managed to block them with his summoned Dark Arm Blades. Harpy vanished, and Fefnir appeared behind him, and struck him with an arc of flames before vanishing. David narrowly avoided being beheaded by a dashing Phantom who sliced in an upwards arc with the katana. He vanished and then Leviathan appeared overhead and tried to stab him with her Ice Spear, and missed but managed to nail him when she swung her weapon upwards into him before vanishing. Sonance reappeared and the hologram dissipated.

(Near Death Attack 2 - Supernova)

She started to glow white as she begun to gather chaos energy into her hands, which thrusting it into the sky transformed into a small sun. She then grinning clenched her right hand into a tight ball, which caused the sun to explode and send out waves of flames in every direction. While David took the full brunt of the attack, she no longer glowed white.

Sonance reappeared a few distance away, and unleashed a wave of small energy balls. David ducked to avoid the attacks, and when she flew towards him, he passed through her, his weapons cutting through her, finishing her off. She flashed a few times before the skies instantly became bright, and she begun to explode, the music suddenly ending. The area became bright as the explosions ranged on faster and louder before a final explosive boom ended it, and the area dimmed. She was no-where in sight.

"Uh... Alia, you DO know that a few people I know are gonna complain about this, right?" The surrounding area glowed brightly before turning black with scan-lines and then turned white.

David exited the Training Area, and walked up behind his wife. "David... I know certain people are gonna wonder why but...”

David gave her a puzzled look. "But?"

"Schwa is a good friend plus he basically knows Forte isn't all that evil as he was in the past. Grey, well, he's a good guy who works like a businessman and is nice. Kirbynite, who I know through the good 'ol internet, is a fun guy to hang around with once you get to know the Dreamlander. And Zekt was that one guy who you guys couldn't beat except for Marino."

David slapped his hand over his face and sighed. "But still... You should erase the data of them from the Training Bay Area if they complain. Oh, and next time, up the AI level on that boss character. I didn't take hardly enough damage counters."

David brought his arms up as Alia threw a stuffed Moogle at him. He laughed and made his exit. She only smiled and said, "Whatever sweetheart..."

The doors flew open, and a moment later Pie stepped into the cafeteria. It was very bare inside, as well as with the rest of the complex; in fact, the only people he had spotted were Jack, Forte's group and a few other characters that he referred to as from 'The Letter H' continuity. Even Grey had disappeared without so much as a goodbye announcement. Though he really didn't care about anyone's well being, Pie's mission was made much more difficult with such incredibly slow activity, and something had to at least be said.

With a loud clash Pie kicked over some empty chairs, climbed over them and stepped onto a table. He held his arm to his side, fingers extended, and with a flash of light his cyber rod appeared in his grasp. He pointed this forward at the reploids, and shifted it over to the undead boy and the chef.

And Pie only continued to stare blankly from behind his visor. It had seemed like he was going to offer something to say, but his silence continued for what was beginning to seem like minutes. Jack had swiveled his chair around, and was regarding the armor-clad kid with mild interest as he sipped into a skull-shaped bottle filled with who knew what. Finally, Pie spoke in his strange electronic voice.

Pie >> We need more people.

Pie shifted his staff's aim around the room slowly again, resting it on each of those in the cafeteria.

"Freak," said Jack, turning his chair around again and resting against the counter. Pie had frozen completely still, but suddenly spoke again.

Pie >> We need activity to draw them.

The virus-infused warrior stared around for a few more moments, and then aiming his rod at a round table, launched a blue beam of electric cyber energy at its edge. With a bang, the table flipped into the air and crashed against more seats, trailing smoke and making a great mess. Pie quickly fired another beam at the next table, this time pulling it toward him and suspending it in midair like a grapple. He turned in his place, hovering slightly, and held it toward the reploids - he might have even smiled slightly as he cocked his head and launched it at them.

Pie >> Understand?

He didn't stop after that. Pie was bent on wrecking the cafeteria for some reason, and trying to get as many people caught in the mess as possible. Jack had disappeared without notice. The tables were floating on their own accord, perhaps being lifted telepathically, and were prancing around the room and slamming themselves against any of the few eaters they could find.

The crashes could be heard all around the complex, for Pie made sure they were amplified over the intercom, which he had hijacked. Over the loudspeaker, Pie's toneless voice echoed through all the halls of the building, and his head appeared on every television or computer screen - they were easy to take control of with no one to stop him, after all.

Pie >> Stop me. Destroy me. Stop me. Destroy me.

OOC: New story starts.... now.

???: "Dooooooooooood!"

Pie's terrifying storm barely had time to well into a maelstrom before a butcher knife hurled itself out of the kitchen and into the floor tiles at his feet. A purplish shape flew out of there at lightning speed, picked up the knife, and flounced upward and into the air. It was nothing more than a blur as it bounced along the ceiling and walls of the cafeteria, dodging to and fro between tables.

Whatever it was, it wasn't human.

"C'mon, dood! You're messin' up my cafeteria!"

It continued to bounce around the room, easily evading the lasers that Pie had fired outward. Each rocket from the alien's launcher met with a butcher knife that was hurled furiously fast, and retrieved just as quickly. Finally, it stopped, and waited for the dust to clear from Pie's ravaging. A pair of peg legs clunked on the floor tiles as it stepped forward, balancing by some completely unknown means.

It was short. It was fat. It was dead. Sort of.

In actuality, it looked a good bit like a penguin with peg-legs. A pair of tiny bat wings sprouted from its back, and it had a little pouch hanging around its waist. It placed its knife inside this pouch neatly, in spite of the pouch itself being much smaller than the knife. Its very chest was sewn to its neck via a series of fat, tough stitches. If anything, it looked Frankensteinian. Its gaze was completely empty, with two black holes for eyes that sat above a broad beak that served as its mouth. Two fat flippers held the pack gingerly, fingerless but still able to grip things very hard by some unknown means.

It was a Prinny. Its name was Axel. And it was very, very mad.

"Yes Hardy..." David, mainly known as Sekai, sighed, listening to his commanding officer, along with his good friends Samus Aran, and Armstrong Houston.

"A person with a toneless and what we figured emotionless voice, hijacked all frequencies and every single television and holo-vision screen around the Galactic Federation, repeating ''Stop me. Destroy me. Stop me. Destroy me.''" Apparently Pie's voice echoed out even towards space far away in the furutre...

Samus sighed. "I am asure you Hardy that everyone heard it."

"Heard what," said the imfamous dragon Ridley as he stepped in.

"I'll explain later, Ridley," Sekai said. He was still unconfortable of Ridley no longer the Federation's enemy, but instead reformed his life to be a good person.

Hardy cleared his throat. "Anyway, whoever this person is, we can be sure this person is up to no good."

"Great. Here we go with yet another galactic adventure that could result in a planetary explosion in the final battle of good versus evil."

Sekai smirked. "Well, it's not like you caused whatever planet you stepped on except SR388 to explode." The blond haired woman wearing her Chozo armor hit him in the back of the head with her left hand instead of using her arm cannon. Sekai rubbed the pain over the back of his head, growling a bit.

"We'll need one of you to go."

"Well, I would but I would probaby attract trouble since I was once known to be the Mother Brain's right hand man in the past," the dragon replied.

"My starship is currently on repairs after my last bounty hunt, and Armstrong's ship is in the same condition." They all then turned to face Sekai. He immediatly knew where this was heading.

"Oh, Hell no! There's no way I'm gonna take this mission by myself..."

* * *

"Damn it! How does Sammy-girl always persuade me like that...?" Sekai sighed to himself, currently in hyper-space drive heading towards the last known location of the disturbance via the starship "Dragonbuster." Well, the only good thing from all of this is no Space Pirates to handle and battle against.

Pie observed the bizarre Prinny before him, completely still among the bucking tables and chairs around them.

Pie >> Your cafeteria? That is unfortunate. But it will be mine, indefinitely. This cafeteria will have changes, you see.

The many tables tumbled toward the exits and piled against the doors, sloppily trying to fit through so the room could be cleared. Once enough space had been made near the center of the room, the floor blinked and flashed, and new tables sprouted from the ground. These were similar to the originals, except they were a transparent blue color with visible wire frame lines along their surfaces - just like anything else that Pie generated out of cyberspace. Pie floated from the ground to sit on the edge of one of these, casually looking down at Axel with his staff held loosely to his side.

Pie >> My banks have acquired ample knowledge of peoples' tastes and pleasures, and I will now redesign this cafeteria accordingly; it will be hip.
