| Yeah.. I've had this in my mind for a quite a time now.. Can you change the colors of sprite with a HEX editor?
I don't mean like Red to Blue and Blue to Red.. I want completely new colors. I think it can be done like this: A Simple 8x8 Sprite HEX numbers replacement:
And Change it to
Note that with [Red] and [Purple] I mean their Hexademical values, like FE and 4D (They're just random HEX, They really don't mean red and purple) If there's an easier way, please inform me. Note that I'm a Mac OS X User, so don't give me links to Windows applications. |

| YY-CHR can create custom palletes, but I think it only works for NES games (conventially). | |||

| If you can run some kind of DOS emulator on your Mac, then you could use pcx2sopt... | |||

| It's easy... The docs coming with the program detail everything step by step, so you shouldn't have too much trouble...
If you still can't figure it out, then come back and let us know. With Windows, I made a shortcut to the DOS command thing, making it start where the program is... Then I right clicked on the icon, and added " -s -t" to the end of the path, that makes it so the program will only generate color palettes, and skip the rest. I don't know if you can do that with a Mac... |

| Well, I have a trial version of Guest PC, which will give you DOS, Linux, XP, 2000, 98 and 95.
It lets you use only the DOS. And I couldn't find a single ReadMe file.. I could, of course use the Other Operating systems, but It always asks about some installation disc.. |

| I meant the doc files that come along with pcx2sopt... Not with your DOS emu, I don't know about that.
If your pcx2sopt doesn't come with docs, then I'll give that to you. |

If all else fails, you may be able to ask someone to make the pallete for you. Just give them the correct values ![]() |
