Looks really spiffy! Only thing I would suggest is to take out some of those right angles on the two bottom areas of the main overworld screen. They look cut-off and unnatural.

Fix NOVA. Fix NOVA now.

See, Nova's this bright eyed sunlike contraption. Not that ugly brown black-eyed monstrocity you have there.

The water in ???? is just plain fugly.

The rest, however, is above average. I can't say all your overworlds work together, I mean... from space to regular overworld to sharp Zelda graphics? But I'd definately rather play your areas than regular old SMW style.

Could you at least provide a reason for your thoughts instead of just a random compliment with no basis? What you just said doesn't help the thread creator at all, and it rather leaves me confused as I don't much see how a random assortment of ExGFX with little care for style applied over an uninspired, harshly unnatural-looking area could be considered godlike.

"Water water everywhere, and not a drop to drink." - Lord Viron

... Pay no attention to that small quote.

I've taken into account about "Nova" so it's gone since it's the past events of Marx's defeat and crap. So instead, Skull Koopa's spaceship is there, the level GFX is Candy Constellation from Kirby and the Amazing Mirror.

Skull Koopa's designs are.... crap, and MM and Peardian would agree, though Kirby... he's always clueless (yes, Magikoopa Myster and Peardian are in this game as background or off-screen apperances.)

So far all I've ripped by hand using the GBA Map Tile viewer are those simple block slopes going left and the rope slopes and platform.

"And here's Skull Koopa's craptacular spaceship."

And now, for some level screens.

"Yes.... that IS the Title Screen... So it's not that dazzlign and stuff like that. Atleast you'll know what happens before you begin the game. Besides, its the gameplay that counts, or something..."

"Two Beach screens. Yes, I AM aware of the pallet problems for the Status Bar. I'm going to take care of that problem."

"Personally, we like the GBA SMB2 graphics than the SNES. This is part of Grass Route."

"Sandblock Desert. Super Mario Advance FG graphics."

Mmmm, I like the overworld lots, but Alastor's pretty much right about the right-angleness of a lot of areas being unnatural. So, there's that. The design is good.

That spaceship is pretty funny. I laughed at it... although it's not much else.

I like the water. It seems vaguely familiar, but it looks good anyway. The sandy parts are really... undefined. They need borders or something. Also, it's unnaturally pointy. I know people have used that GFX in other hacks, but I never got around to complaining until now. Also, the plot is ehh. I mean, games are cool with no plot, but... yeah. If nothing else, I suggest you make a snazzy logo or explain it a little more. "One month has passed." Since the events of SMW? The "But, Evil has returned" just seems like it was supposed to go at the end of something else. But whatever. It's not really important.

The SMBGBAWHATEVER rips are boring and uninspired. This is added to by the fact that the background isn't changed, so it looks... uh, not good, really? I mean, SMW backgrounds are fine, but they've just been used so many times they're not really interesting anymore unless the level design is good... which looks kind of ehh. As people have said before, it's pretty impossible to tell whether the level design is good from a couple screenshots, but it looks pretty ehhh. The main problem I forsee you having is the placement of enemies. I mean, just putting enemies into a level doesn't automatically make it good. You need to put them in interesting formations or strategic placements so they're going to cause an inexperienced player trouble and benefit a good one. Remember, the player can easily just jump over all of these enemies. Also, what's with people and coins? I really haven't seen many coins in these hacks... I suggest putting 100 coins or so in a level, total, or maybe 50.

The third one is either just a bad screenshot or what. There's nothing there besides some rips and a Koopa. And it's not a very hard-to-kill koopa, anyway.

I really have to wonder about the logic behind statements such as that. The overworld has... Problems, as stated, but the levels... The levels are just poor. Graphics everyone's already seen before, laid out in a fashion that just... Seems... Poor. Plus, there's no way to really tell what exactly you meant because you didn't say anything helpful whatsoever.

Also, the palettework in the levels looks quite bad. ESPECIALLY on the sand. It's too bright.

I agree with Alastor about the levels. There just isn't anything special about the levels. Nothing seems to stand out, causing it to look boring. Using graphics we've all seen before in a lousy way doesn't help much, either.

Too bad. I love NOVA. A talking mechanical star with a heart shaped fighting core and a tendency to try and grant people wishes can't be much cooler. I guess it makes sense that he wouldn't be around anymore since he was exploded in the battle with Marx.

Your graphics don't look right when you mix SMW BGs and All-stars looking FGs. That vase doesn't look right below ground, even though I believe that's just how they did it in SMB2. And I've seen that damn pyramid in the background too many times. TOO MANY TIMES.

Your craptacular Koopa Spaceship is, well, craptacular. I didn't find it very funny either. It's a step up from your NOVA, though. A small step.
