A big thanks goes to peter_ac for personally letting me take graphics from his hack he's working on.

My First Level.

Cool SMB1 Backgound! Cool SM64 Trees SNES style!

Some SMB2 GFX

Ledge climbing in the first world

A cool half-half level

There is a border of cave and land as you can see, unique huh?

High mountains

The sky puzzle

Angelic Sky

Entrance to Yellow Switch Room

Yellow Switch

Koopa Trail

The Dark dimension passage

Dry Ridge of Koopa Park

Final Crossing

Very Cool Level

Very Simple Level

Classic SMB3 style design

What!! Beezos and Shyguys!

The End of that level

Underground Desert Passage(Should I do a different color for lava?)

Night Desert Temple

In the temple a door to the dark dimesion sits.

Dark Boos try to kill!

There is always someone wtching in the darkness(Probobly need to darken some pallettes here, huh?)

My Oasis level!

The trees grow over the water here

The water is frozen in some places! But not in others!

Snow hills

The Earth level. (Do the blocks look stupid or cool?)

Blood, sweat, and tear were poured into this hack; I'm making it better than before, but I won't release the way better demo until i can get the OW completed for a least the first two worlds. I will release a better demo of Super Mario Element Worlds.

The blocks look stupid. Otherwise, you haven't really done much exept use Peters Graphics. =/

But judging from the level design, this looks good. Keep up the great work, Fox!

It looks pretty good. Nice work, I do have to agree with Rain Man though. You also have status bar problems

I ain't no noob, guys. I could insert some more GFX, but when Peter_ac offers me exclusive GFX from his latest, then sure I'll use'em saves me a buttload of work. The point of this thread is to see if the hack looks cool, not to go: "He must be a noob for usong peter_ac's GFX". Hey! a cool hack is a cool hack that's all that matters! So comment on my level design, not where I got GFX; peter_ac is awesome and he created some of these GFX, but the levels are 100% mine, and that's what makes my work unique! I'm good at it. Good day to you all!

Hey everyone, listen to Mr. EMO babbling.

Mr. EMO. Shyguy, please, for God's sake, understand. Did you see any insult/anger in his post? No? I thought not.

He pointed out that he "ain't no" noob.

Then he ended with "good day".

And he told us "what the point of this thread was".

And he generally just rampaged.

Yeah, that kinda just screams disrespect....

This is looking good. I hope the level design is as good as the ExGFX, it's hard to tell in these little screenshots.

Anyway, yeah. Fix the statusbar palette stuff that these guys are talking about and it should be rad. Time for a good old fashioned screenshot review...!

1. Those bushes look out of place given the ground they're on, but SMB All Stars bushes are fun and interesting so maybe you might just want to change the ground.
2. Nice background. The pipe has this little ugly green border around it you need to fix. The trees alone are enough to make me want to play the hack.
3. Super nifty. Am I the only one that's still impressed by the graphics of All-Stars? I don't care if it's been done before: they're still better than the normal ones. Also, give Lakitu some shading love or something because his style looks out of place. Not necessary, though.
4. Nifty. The corners are a little... pointy. Might want to fix that.
5. Although sprite-wise it looks bare, the dual-level type idea I like very much and it looks very good.
6. Uhhm... I can't say I like it too much. The brown ones look crappy, and it only works from Mario's perspective. I suggest you lay some blocks over the brown ones somehow so they totally look better but you don't have to and I can't describe the problem very well.
7. The pipe is an enigma. The cement blocks, wood, and clouds altogether kind of clash. I suggest you change the clouds into cement, but I haven't seen the rest of the level yet.
8. Oh nooooo I hate these levels but go ahead and do it anyway. That's just me. I suggest you make the wood sort of "meld" into the other wood so it creates a maze. That would look slick.
9. Again, it would look prettier if you didn't use so many seperate wood things because they kind of float on top of each other to begin with and they don't have a reason to be broken. Just like heal some of the breaks and only keep the necessary ones. Also, this level looks kind of boring but it's just one screenshot so I dunno.
10. Yaaaaay. The yellow glass should maybe be brighter, however, but I suck at shiny things so I can't really say anything here.
11. Hooray, the switch! This entire level looks boring and drab, maybe. Add some things like background pillars to spice it up.
12. The SMB2 clashes with the SMB3 ground. In addition, the cement blocks there make the SMB3 ground look crappy the way it just suddenly stops there. Round off some edges. Also, I'm assuming there was an enemy to the left. There should have been.
13. Mmm. Delicious SMB2 background. Get rid of the white spots on the rope, if you can. No big deal, but what the hey. Looks rad. Make sure to make a big maze with plenty of secrets in there! Also, at least two non-boo enemies.
14. Make edge stumps for the bridges. It just looks silly without it. Those bridges only make sense when it goes directly into a wall. You could just raise the beach up a bit. Also, the edge of the beach in the water has tan surrounding it. Not good. I'm guessing this is the edge of the entire continent.
15. Ah! The bridge looks better. Final Crossing sounds lame. Well, for a beach. You can only use it if there are swords. And purple. This part looks kind of tediously uninteresting, but maybe you just need to take better screenshots. If you're not crying with joy at your levels, change them.
16. Okay... I'm guessing the name is a joke because it doesn't look very cool at all. First of all, the SMB2 edges have green around them. And... that's it. So maybe it is cool. Sue me.
17. yay I like this level
18. This level's looking cool, too. If there aren't lots of dangerous monsters, I'll be disappointed.
19. hooray I hate beezos This level looks good, although a bit blocky. I wonder what's in the water...
20. The grounds are cool. The really big block you used as a wall is dumb. Try using something else, instead. Like, take a normal block and make it darker.
21. okay fine another pyramid level First of all, the lava and the adjacent blocks look funny. Bad, in fact. Also, cutting apart blocks at arbitrary places does not make them interesting. Cut them up less. The ceiling's okay to cut up, though, but you want some consistency with the ground. Unless Shyguys fall out of this pipe, the level doesn't look very interesting... Try using black tar for the lava, or yellow quicksand.
22. This level is the only one so far that looks outright not-very-good. It doesn't make sense how the blocks have cracks in them. The white shine on the blocks thing is probably a palette issue, but it's still annoying. It needs to be a little dimmer. Maybe you should think about how the enemies are going to be used in a level? People are rarely killed by a goomba or a koopa unless they're put someplace good or the ground's slippery... then again, I can't really tell with the screenshots. Put a hidden 1-UP block in the water somewhere. Also the background doesn't look too hot.
23. Doesn't look bad... the door should be a portal instead, though. I mean, come on. But that's probably impossible. So yeah, change the palette. Also, the black blocks look cool but the background clashes with them so I suggest you change the background's palette, too.
24. I like it a lot. Don't change too much.
25. NEEDS MOAR PURPLE
26. The beach that touches the water looks funky. Make the beach a block higher before the big orange block and make it go behind the orange block so you can make the left edge go straight down. Also, tan edges aren't fun. This level looks kind of boring. Orange blocks probably aren't that buoyant.
27. Ooh, cool. The bottom of the trees touching the leaves are cut off, though...
28. The ice blocks suffer from crappy borders. And it'll be good if you can tell the difference between the walky ice and the swimmy ice. And you can't jump through ice without hurting your head or breaking the ice.
29. Boring. Now's a good a time as any to note that there are no coins in any of these screenshots. What gives? I like coins. Bring them back. What's up with the green in the giant ice blocks?
30. Oh! That looks cool and original. I like it, although the SMB2 bombable brick suffers from a little cutoffitude. No big deal.
S.N.N.

Now if anyone really thinks I'm gonna write that much, they have another thing coming

I like the level design, and it sounds like you have an interesting storyline, which is good. The yellow switch palace curtains are sick. The dark dimension passage also looks very cool - the colours are spiffy.

I really like the water palette on Koopa Ridge, even though it's just water, it makes me thirsty

The Desert blocks from SMB2 are too stretched, therefore making them look odd.

The dark boos are way too purple, you can hardly see their faces. (though that just may be the screenshot - may be different in emulator.)

Frozen levels look sweet

Earth level looks nice

Nice job so far. This hack is coming along great

Thank you guys for your reviews. I'm glad the most of you like it so far; sorry to say the pointier SMB2 grass ledges will stay that way, because you'll see a little corner of the sky color in front of some of the ledges, which I think they would look silly. There are some screenshots that show more than one part of the level, so they'll all have variety! Yeah, I'll probobly make a blackish-brown color lava for the inside pyramid level, as tar or so. I could release the demo of what i have so far without a new OW, or I could wait to release the demo till I do the over world, at least up to the second world, but i hate OW, and it'll take time, and you guys will have to settle with the un-updated demo version in the hack database. It's your choice guys.

I fail to see where he lashed out.

I especially like the purple-themed shots. They just... fit the theme
