Now, after all that, you come back crying back for our help. You expect us to just say 'Okay'? Arminas: ... I didn't come.. crying back for help. Lucas: Then good luck working alone. | Lily grabbed Ark and Sigmund's hands and dragged thw two around the side the side of the house. She released her grip and pushed herself against the house wall.
Lily: If we speak to them right now, we'll most likely be blown off... However.. I have a foolproof plan! We're going to secretly follow them! ----------------- Lucas headed out the door, followed by Clara. Arminas: Wait! Clara stops walking, and turns around. Clara: Despicable. | Arminas stood there as he watched Lucas, Clara, and Sky walk out of the house.
Lily continued to press herself against the house wall. Whether or not anyone saw them, no one paid any attention to them. Lily: Phew.. they didn't see us.... Hum... Well, I guess it's best if we get Army with us.. Meanwhile, Arminas' eyes became glued to the floor. He sighed a bit. He waved his hand at Cassandra without looking. Arminas slowly stepped out of Lucas' house, with a giant aura of depression lingering over Arminas. Lily slowly poked her head from the side of the house, making sure Clara, Sky, and Lucas were out of range. Lily: Yo, Army! Arminas turned around to see Lily running out from the side of the house. Arminas: Lily.. Lily ran over to Arminas and hugged his arm. Lily: I can't believe you're alive! And in one piece! I was really worried about you! 
Arminas: You were?
Lily released Arminas and hopped back a few steps. Lily: Or not! 
Arminas: Make up your mind 
Lily: You can gripe better than that! Come on! Get mad! |

Arminas: ... You're a terrible liar. Lily: Bleh. I guess there's no point in keeping that up. I don't really think that was cool ditching us like that, but I've got my own priorities. Arminas: What do you want? Lily: Ally's brooch. Arminas: It's not a jewel, you know. You wouldn't be able to get any money for it. Lily: No, dummy! It's not about the money, I want the stone in the brooch. That stone looks like something I've been searching for forever: The Everlight! Arminas: That's not what it was called, though. It was.. uh.. something.. Tear. Lily: I'll tell you what. How about you get me that stone in exchange for helping you rescue Ally. Arminas: ... That's.. a tough choice. Lily: Oh come on, now! Don't you think her life is a lot, lot, looooot more important? Arminas: .... Well.. I'll try to talk to her, but no guarentees. Lily: I guess that'll be alright for now. | Cassandra watched Arminas leave the house with a look of helplessness on her face. She wanted to stop him, but knew he just wouldn't listen. So she just hung back, now all alone.
Cassandra: By myself...I don't remember much...but I remember it's been like this for a while, somehow... But she didn't have much time to worry about that, as something in her body tensed up. Soon she fell to the ground, rigid, unable to move but in great pain all the same, struggling to stay conscious and trying to fend off the darkness creeping in all around her. She had to hope they would be back soon...or else...she didn't even know what... ******************* Sky: Ah, good to be out on the town away from those things trying to kill us, for once. Rare enough that we get to experience that. Where does this Cedric live, anyway? |

Lucas holds out note he had previously fished out from the fountain plaza. Lucas: "We will meet at Angel Lake. Please go to the docks." Perhaps he lives somewhere out there.. Clara: Angel Lake.. that's in the center of the island, is it not/ Lucas: Indeed it is. The fastest way to get there would be to take a ship, sail around, and through the passage that divides the island. We would eventually have to sail over Raging Bay. --------------------- Arminas: Then how do you get information from him? Lily: You send him a letter in a certain way, and an answer comes back with information you requested. Arminas: What a hassle.. |

| Clara's mind started to wander a bit as the trio walked. She wasn't paying too much attention to the converstaion at this point since her ears were tuned in to something else.
"Outragerous! Where do you get off at?" "But.. but they're perfectly trained! They'll do your bidding!" Clara: Oh.. yes.. the Yoshenyoshi. Lucas: You bring up a good point Sky. Perhaps he has a connection with the Yoshenyoshi? Hm... Though.. it's best not to form conclusions on just assumptions. ------------------------ Lily: Alright! Let's follow Teach, and then we can find out what they know! Arminas: That's your plan? Lily: Hey! No complaining! Let's just get going to the fountain plaza. Arminas: Why there? | Ark was more concerned about a black cat he saw hanging around the doorway of the house they were at then what Lily and Arminas were talking about. He walked over towards the cat, but the cat didn't run away.
"You... know something..." The cat could see it all, it saw Cassandra and all her pain. It looked at Ark for a second, then looked back into the house. Ark entered the house, not sure what he would really find. |
