| At our school today we got off early.....Why..because there was a F***ing warring in a letter that a bomb would be set off today!

| We've had several bomb threats (being, uh, las vegas) and even one at a school I was going to, not to mention someone actually bringing a gun (granted, it was at the college across the street, but it still involved people from our HS)...
really, bomb threats are nothing 99% of the time, but there is the off chance something could happen -- just enjoy your day off and hope they find the fucknut that did it  |

| I, too, find it funny how bomb threats usually turn up false. The US is based around fear. But then again, they don't want to take any chances.
Funny story that is only loosely related at best to this, though. One of my online associates told me that during the whole antrax scare, his school was evacuated because someone found powder in the sink in one of the washrooms. When they came to clean it up, the supposed "anthrax" turned red during the process. It turned out it was nothing more than Kool-Aid. OHHHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| Bombs in schools? I doubt it. The people who threatened to do so would have had to have taken a Engineering course or found some scematics(is that right?) to make a home made one somewhere, like the ones that are going off in Iraq. Whoever made the threat might have just wanted to get out of school early that day. It'll be interesting to see what happens later on when you go back to school next. | |||

Once we had a bomb threat in middle school then my freshman year of high school we had about ten bomb threats throught the whole year. Most mainly during the winter time. That sucked majorly. Walking in the cold to the empty mall and wait till it was clear then walk back.  |

| We've had quite a few of those, in both my middle school and high school.
Nothing was ever done except one time at my middle school, when they sent everyone home. All the other times, it was pretty much ignored. =\ We have more threats of guns and such, though. Nothing happens with that either. It's pretty lame. |

i remember back in 7th grade (year after colombine) we had one almost every single day through out the year. The school even freaked out during a power outage that the power company caused cause they hit a faulty line. then in 10th grade i remember some kid thought hed be cool and put a note on my locker while i was in gym saying theres a bomb in the locker...yeah that day was a very long one, since i sat in the principles office then down to the police station for about 5 hours as they tried to drag somethign out of me that i never did. never did get a apology after that day..maybe thats why i moved school districts... |
