| No. It's just not worth it, and most comments on a user can be posted publicly or sent via PM anyhow. As for determining who is good and who is not...their intelligence can usually show that. |

And with user comments, I'm gonna go with the last one just because it's the only choice that makes sense, but I would just say no to this. Could result in wars, flaming wars, attacks on people, stuff like that. It would do more hurt and harm than good. Maybe if you could put restrictions on it like you can't put tons of them in one persons comments repeatidly, maybe three in a row, besides your own and allow deletions and banned people can't use them and what not, kinda like post yet slightly less restrictions and some may have no purpose what so ever. Still, could cause trouble. Wouldn't hurt to try them out though just to see what happens. Now I'm debating myself, ugh. To think I wanna be a lawyer. I say try it for about a week, and if things go wrong, remove them. But if things work out, keep them. You can never really know until you try right?

If comments can be deleted by the user/admin and pictures/links are forbidden (so I get no ads in it...) then I am in. Otherwise... no... Editpoll.php and Blocklayout.php would be other nice additions as well. Comments could work... just set it to where a member can't place comments until they reach a set post limit. That would stop newbies from going "LOL U SUX!" when they just register... |
