Since the fastest driving poll seemed like it did fairly well, let's try another in a series of fastest/most/biggest type polls.

Since nations and states can vary in size, may I suggest posting as to how many miles or kilometers your choice represents.

Assuming you mean traveled as in "with anyone, with no particular requirement to who was pilotin the vehicle", to only neighboring states - about 400mi at the most.

If you mean in any mode of transportation you were controlling, then... about 3mi. (no, I don't drive often)

The poll is flawed. Canada's closer to Seattle than Los Angeles or Las Vegas (which ever's farther from Seattle)

That's an inherent problem with geography. This is why I asked that everyone post a milage to give more context to their vote.

"Within my nation."

I've been across the country a few times, but I've never really left the country. I did go to Canada for a day (well more like, a few hours), but that hardly counts.

I was in a black hole for a while. I'm not sure how that counts, since there is only nothingness, but I geuss I'll choose within my own local county.

Starting in Cali I've taken trips to

As far northwest in the US you can get excluding Alska (SEATLE)
Pretty far northeast in the US (NEW YORK)
As far southeast as you can get in the US (FORT LAUDERDALE)
As far west as you can get in the US (HAWAII)
As close to the middle as I'm ever gonna get in the US (CHICAGO)

All the way across the atlantic to
Germany
France
Denmark
Austria

and I'm going abroad in 6 months to
United Kingdom

and probably
Italy
Spain
Sweeden

So I guess that makes it 5500 miles or 8800 kilometers.

Florida. Maybe a little over 1,000 miles from here? I'm in NYC.

I'm very sad about that.

I was half-expecting you to come in here and say something along the lines of "I'm Neil Armstrong, bitch. I've been to the moon!", but that works just as well.

And am I the only one who hasn't traveled outside my province/state?

Man, you have some pretty tenuous geography there.

You didn't put other planets. Those of us from the moon take personal offense to the bias of this poll...But to answer the choices you've given me, I've been to another country. That's actualy the only traveling I have ever done. We never did go much further than Tokyo (though my grandmother lives in Hokaido so I guess that was quite a trip to help her move up there)

My incredible wit is wasted on all of you. I was saying my local area is shitty, like a blackhole.

You have created a paradox! Unless you live in China, which is likely, as you claim you are a communist.

The farthest I've traveled would have to be the Philippines which was almost 9 years ago. Don't know how far that was.

Other than that, I've just been to Mexico and spend no more than an hour there. It's probably about 2 miles from my house because I live on the border.
