Just a wild guess here, but I think he was being sarcastic. By the way, hack looks good.

Note that I said, "co-op mode" not "2-player". I specificly said co-op mode, to try and suggest that 2 people will have to cooperate to get though the level....

This looks really cool, especially the graphics. I also like the idea of a co-op mode, this looks promising I'm looking forward to a demo.

Are you going to make it possible to be completed solely as one player as well, (Disregarding the fact that I could just set both inputs to the same buttons), for us lonely dips? (i.e me)

Because the game is basicly only one level, I probably won't release a demo. But if I continue working on it at the speed I am now, maybe I'll finish it by the end of the month.

Of course. The co-op mode, is only kind of a side quest...

Try using a Logitech Wingman 2 or soemthing... I use that, and it works quite well. It's got more buttons than an SNES controller, so I added a bunch of commands to it.

Who the hell is Teckomaki?

That would be pretty awsome if you could switch at the pause menu, but then I'm probably have to change all my levels around...

Whoa, we're knee deep into the code now. A pause menu would be awesome, especially if you can switch players.

This has some neat concepts in it. The hatless Mario reminds me a lot of ROTMK 4. Also, if he's not going to be Li'l Mario, you ought to asm hack the Hatless so that he can also spin jump through turn blocks.
I like the idea of co-op in a one-level game. I'll definitely have to check into this.

It's a different spin on things. I suppose the concept is all right. The graphics are tolerable, but not perfect. The grass in the foreground just doesn't look right, especially with the new background. Other than that, it seems like a good idea. If you handle this correctly, this hack may turn out well.

I don't really like the idea of only one straightforward level.Besides, sometimes I save state in the middle of death.

No one said it was gonna be "super hard". There might be some challenging spots, but the hack was made to be playable without the use of savestates.

Not to mention, there is also the rewind key...

There is another option. Zsnes has a key for "rewind in the past". Open Zsnes, choose the menu "Misc", and now, the option "Game Keys". In the list of "Misc toggles", says "Rewind key", click on the box and choose the key for the rewind. Now, reset Zsnes. If you are playing a game/hack and you die, press that key, itīs magical !.
