| Sorry I had to post it first. What's everyone doing for their little honey for Vday?
Me: Today I put a card under my passenger car seat and we got in it getting ready to go to the mall. I asked her to reach under her seat and reach for my wallet but she grabbed the card instead. Inside was some sappy pregenerated stuff then a folded paper with a poem I wrote myself with a nice border around it. Later I took her out to eat and order whatever she wanted. Tomorrow she thinks I'm working. I had the manager put me on the schedule me but I'm really off. I'm going to go to her school while she's working at the library and show up with a dozen multi-colored roses, a giant teddy bear with my sweater tied around its neck (giving it to her), a basket of candy with a dozen blow pops (watermelon and strawberry flavors, her favorite) made to look like roses with the sucker in the middle as seen here and a few other candies. Then Wednesday I'm taking her ice skating. |

Awwwww! DharkDaiz, most girls would kill for a guy like you  I'm going to be spending the day alone again. Actualy, working...the restaurant buisness on a holiday is always going to be horrendously buisy.
When my shift finaly ends, I'll probably eat the candy my aunt gives me. Every year, she gets candy from a bunch of older guys who have their eye on her at time. They don't take no for an answer, especially with her being taken to a much younger guy. So she just gives all their candy to me! Which is good, because I love chocolate. Maybe a little too much |

| I think I'll first stab ya' for reminding me it's Singles Awareness Day. Then I'm gonna go about m' classes as best as I can without thinking about it, and try not to think about it during the special dinner tonight (and if any sappy couples come up asking for a malt with two straws, they'll be wearing it). Then to the local SCA Shire's auction, and see if I can pick up a pair of boots.

St. Valentine's Day, like many other holidays, has been so bloody commercialized that it makes me ill, and not many American's know who Valentine was, or what he did that got him Cannonized, or why this day is when he's celebrated.  I'm gonna step back and see who else knows this.  |

| Steak, you rule. Let's all us singles band together and rock out to the singles groove until one of us gets a girlfriend and then suddenly we get pissed at that person for betraying us.
In other news, I have a different, non-girlfriend related reason to celebrate. It's my parents' anniversary today! Being as how it's been what, 15 years? My dad's keeping up with his tradition for the occasion. Each year for christmas, my mom's birthday, and their anniversary, he gets her an addition to her ring(valentine's day), bracelet (christmas) or necklace (birthday), and on each of the three days... she always wears her three main pieces of jewelery, all decked out with the craziness.
In other, less important news, today is Valentine's day and I wish I had a girlfriend. However, I will settle for a plethora of cheap candy on Valentine's Boxing Day. Another good question would be for me to ask myself why I am not at the dining halls yet. |

| Yeah...yay for today. Already been to Chem lab...a *very* nerdy girl there was giddy. As. Hell. Said it was her first Valentine's Day with a boyfriend, and that she was really excited about it.
