Once again, war struck the world of Wars World as Black Hole tried yet again to conquer the world... and yet again, they were losing... as always. The mechanics in the current Black Hole base were growing frutrated. Built all those robot tanks and all... for nothing! Wasted all this money... again for nothing! It had taken such a long time and such a large amount of time to build those MD Tanks... and now, it was only obvious that they would get crashed!... like all the others! ... but maybe they could slip out of the battlefield unnoticed and save the tanks for another time, when they'll actually come in handy unstead of serving as nothing more than meat for the opposing armies? "Move it! Move it!" yelled one of the Black Hole officers, pointing at the robotic tanks. The tanks slowly moved into position, ready to leave... when suddenly, the base's alarm went off! "DRATS! ENEMY IN THE BASE! ENEMY IN THE BASE!" yelled the communications officer. The leader of the base reminded himself to cut off that moron's salary for swearing while using the base's communications device. He could already imagine it... the invaders laughing their heads off, hearing Black Hole officers yelling in panic, showing their fear in a very obvious manner. "Keep moving! Keep moving! Master Sturm will have our heads if he learns we wasted those funds! Save the tanks! Keep moving!" yelled frantically the leader... But then, the "invaders" arrived... or rather, the sole invader, William. The leader stood there, raising an eyebrow... and he took out his radio, receiving a transmission from the radar officer. "Sir! Our mistake... the enemy forces are busy dealing with our troops to the south. There is only a single invading enemy." stated the officer. The leader tought quickly... a single enemy? No need to panic... but still... if he let him go, he will warn the others and then, there will REALLY be a lot of invaders and then, it will become impossible to make those slow-moving tanks escape! As such, he needed to eliminate that stupid enemy before he could go warn the others... but how? He was not exactely a fierce soldier and everyone is out to defend the base... but then, it hit him. The tanks! Surely, a measly little enemy is nothing compared to ten high-quality Black Hole MD Tanks! Yes... most definitely! "Stop! Stop! I said STOP, you stupid pieces of junk!" ordered the leader. The ten tanks stopped... and the leader pointed toward William! "GET HIM!!!" he yelled at the top of his lungs! That was it... the battle is on... |

| "Crap..."
William knew something was wrong when he heard the communications officer. He heard the word "tanks" and he began to fear that he would die. But he was against the Black Hole... he hoped. As long as the CO wasn't Lash, he would be fine. Lash could easily whip up some sort of something to kill him. Then he noticed that the tanks were MD Tanks. A little stronger than regular strength, but not Neotank strength. He stood a decent chance. His simple sword wouldn't work real well against a full health tank, so he would have to play around with the other tools he had for right now. He had really nothing. His B-Guns, rocket launcher from Sami, and this weird grenade supplied by himself. Huh. Maybe he would need to just instantly make stuff appear to win... "Alright, then. I don't know where you are going, but Andy needs me to distract you, so... yeah. Oh, and here I go capturing your base!" He walked over to a flagpole with the Black Hole flag on it and began to bring it down. He pulled the rope, hoping to claim the base in the name of Orange Star. Odd enough, this was a tactic in Wars World a long time ago, probably about ten years ago or more... "Stop me if you can!" |

| The leader frowned! The officer next to him stood there, frowning too.
"Boss! The base is lost already! Just let him get that base!... and they wrecked all of our good equipment already! Let's get the tanks outta here!" pleaded the officer. The leader's face was turning red... "I know... BUT THIS IS FRUSTRATING! I refuse to let this base fall to a single, stupid Orange Star goon! We may be the bad guys... but we do have a honor... well, a strange one, I'll give you that... BUT WE HAVE HONOR!!!" The leader pointed to the enemy soldiers, enraged! "Don't just stand there... FIRE!!!" Five of the ten MD Tanks slowly placed in front of the flag and took aim while the others remained near the leader, just in case... "Oh and... WATCH IT! Sturm will have our heads if you dirty one of his finely crafted flags! It is our symbol, our pride after all!... so aim for the enemy, NOT the flag!" stated the leader. The tanks' CPUs quickly figured out that firing their main cannon at such a small target would be unwise since the concussive blast could also damage the flag... so they opted to use their machine guns unstead. Sure, the machine guns were not really quite as powerful as the cannons and weren't anti-personnel class... but it was the most fitting option. The first tank lined itself and fired a first salve of machine gun bullets at William, spraying bullets in such a way that it would strike William's hands, forcing him to get away of the flag and that, without firing at the flag itself. =William= Life Force (9) (IIIIIIIIII) =ENEMY= 5/5/10 =SCORE= (-)) 1 post (edited by Zerodius on 11-20-05 02:07 AM) |

| Exactly into my plan.
William quickly fled from the flagpole, bullets hitting the pole he once stood by. He continued running until he ran behind a metal barrel and rolled behind it, hearing the bullets chime against the other side of it. He caught his breath as the barrage still continued on. He knew that the barrel wouldn't last long, so he had to quickly make a move. He grasped hold of the bazooka. It was a gift from Sami, in hopes of capturing this base. He was glad she liked his style of strategy, using Infantry and Mechs to destroy everything. William then questioned why there was a barrel lying in the middle of the base, an empty one at that. Maybe they were just going to pack up and leave? He didn't know, but he did know one thing: putting a bazooka on top of a barrel and launching it at one of the tanks should destroy, if not weaken, one of the MD Tanks. He did just that. He placed the bazooka on top of the barrel, not revealing his arm or hands, and then fired it. When it launched, the bazooka flew into a wall of the base due to recoil and misfired another rocket past William towards the tanks again. However, the first one would have a better chance of hitting a tank than the second, as it was angled off a little bit. He looked at the new tangled mess of metal that lay by the wall. He was upset, as the bazooka was destroyed. It would be unable to fire again without proper maintenence. "Crap... that was a good bazooka too. Oh well. Should stir them up." ---------- OOC: If that second rocket is counted as a second attack, then you can make it miss automatically. |

| The slow tank had no chance of evasion...
The first rocket was a direct impact ; right in the tank's side. There was a big explosion as the tank was knocked backward. It landed loudly on the other side of the room, it's armor in pieces, wires and various systems sticking out of the mechanical war weapon. "Attempting auto-repair..." slowly stated the robotic tank to itself... "Auto-repair systems damaged. Critical systems damaged. Energy output unsufficient. Attempting to activate emergency energy supply. Emergency energy supply damaged. Deactivating main systems and redirecting all power to secondary systems. Secondary systems completely fried, redirecting to emergency systems... ... ... Emergency systems damaged. General system failure imminent. Mission failed." The robotic tank ceased to function completely... and the base leader begun to fulminate! "I cannot believe this! I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS!" yelled the leader in anger. "Warning. Second rocket launched." stated one of the robots, warning the leader of the incoming danger. William's second rocket misfired however... and exploded into the closest wall, causing metal rubbles to fall over the destroyed tank. "Oh no! We won't be able to salvage it now!" whined one of the officers. "Shut up! At least, we still got nine more tanks!" stated the officer. The four remaining attacking tanks begun to adjust the angle of their canons. Their CPUs figured out that the best course of event was for the two tanks on the sides to fire first, targetting the sides of the barrel, pinning the enemy behind the barrel with explosive shells while the three others aimed and fired explosive shells above the barrel thus terminating the target. The tanks slowly moved into position... and carried out the plan. The two tanks on the sides fired. Their aim was obviously off and had no chance of hitting William... it was not their goal. Their goal was to pin William on the spot... and considering this was their goal... then their aim wasn't that bad if you thought about it. =William= Life Force (9) (IIIIIIIIII) =ENEMY= 4/5/10 =SCORE= (-)) 2 posts |
