I can imagine Nevada would be an awesome place for speeding. I could do like 160 on the salt flats.

Cavaliers are unusually fast for 4 cylinder cars. I'm not surprised.

Well, we use kilometres here.

The fastest speed limit they have here is 110 on rural roads. I drove 160kmph to a friend's place.

I tried to do a conversion, but I don't know if this is right... 100mph.
That's why I did the conversion for everyone in the poll itself. Btw, your conversion is right.

My car's (1990 4 cylinder Toyota Corolla's) speedometer limit is around 110mph. As a result, the most I've ever pushed it is 95 mph. At around 90 mph, the car shakes unnervingly.

Yeah, my car's speedometer doesn't actually go past 85....

But I'm pretty sure I've hit 100 before.

Without getting caught for it, Hiryuu.

I've done 162mph when my dad booked out a day of racing for both him and I. We got to use ferrari 355 spyders. Shame I'm not old enough to drive on the road, cause I would be a devil in my dads porche.

I haven't gotten one yet.
Just don't ask if they're under their ticket quota if you do get pulled over.

I don't know. I regularly break the speed limit by a signifigant margin in a red z28 Camaro and somehow I never get pulled over.

70, to avoid getting run over on a particularly hectic highway where people rarely go the speed limit.

That's not true, it all depends on when the governer is set to engage. The odomiter means jack shit besides how fast you are going.

Fastest I ever been? Hmmm, possibly around 145 in Wisconsin. <3 the backroads.

Heh, I drive a Cavalier too...

Anyways, the fastest I've gone is about 97... But it's so close to 100, that I just voted for that.

It was in a 40, or 45, just so you know. It's about a mile and a half road that's perfectly flat, and in really good condition. Was just seeing how fast I could get the car going, then my girlfriend called me on my cell. v.v

Not sure if I really want to do it again, it was fun, but I really don't want to get a ticket for going over double the speed limit.

30 mph

No, I'm not shitting you. My dad finally let my drive a car last Sunday for practice and he'll get pissed if I do go over 30 mph which was the speed limit. Maybe when I do get older and driving alone, I might go much faster.

Clearly, you must have a bitchin' Camaro. (ducks)

It's kind of hard to find anywhere you can speed to that extent in CT, no, ||bass?

There's this highway between a couple towns here that never has police on it. I'd just gotten a new car and it drove so much more smoothly than my old Tempo that I didn't even notice I was doing 140 km/h (the speed limit is 100). I decided to push it to 150, then backed off to something more reasonable in case a cop did show up.
