when a window covers part of PTE and you move the window back off of PTE, PTE doesn't repaint itself. it only repaints itself when you press "S". and it doesn't close easilt, either. I needed to press Ctrl+Alt+Delete.

Besides that, awesome job, Smallhacker!

It doesn't? It should. I had to add some extra code to make sure it exited correctly. It's theoretically possible that closing it causes it to freeze, but I figured that the odds was so incredibly low that I didn't care that much about it. Pressing Esc should always work fine, though.

That is caused by the extra code I mentioned above. If the program is closed in the middle of the "WritePixelFast" command, it freezes. Therefore, I had to make it not update unless neccesary. Saving, pressing up/down, scrolling with the wheel, choosing tiles, choosing poses and choosing sizes redraws the screen.

Do you need to fill in the entire path to the AllGFX.bin ?Because if I do that it's to long and doesn't fit into the program window and I can't type any further (My definition of entire path is like C:\Documents and Settings\ etc.)

If your graphics folder is in the same folder that SMWPTE, you can just enter 'Graphics' and it should work fine(this is what I did and it worked fine)

Uh... Are you using a headerless ROM? (You're not supposed to)

It loads the graphics from AllGFX.bin, since I have no idea how SMW's graphics are compressed, nor where they are stored.

I gonna say the program is awsome so far. But just to to help out a little, on the pose that says "Using pipe, turning with item", the tile is also used for Mario's Spin jump..
Also, "walking 1" should also have "standing position", and the "Unused?" tiles, you have in the special section, its the top half of small/big Marios ducking position....

Otherwise Excellent job.

Synthrax: I was far from sure on some poses (and too lazy to test all). That's why I placed the descriptions in an external file. (Open smwpte_desc.dat in Notepad and edit as you wish)

No, I am definitely using a headered ROM.

After all, LM could open it to get the GFX.

Made any kind of big expansions which moves stuff around in the ROM? If not, can you send me the IPS so I can have a look at it?

No, this was a vanilla SMW ROM with just a few level changes with LM.

I will have to send you a link to the .smc in private, I don't have LIPS on thsi computer.
