I need a little help with this I've been working on this hack for almost a year now and I still can't come up with a name for it.

If this helps I have the basic storyline line.

The game will take place a few years (3-4) after Link to the Past and the land is at peace but this peace is not to last for Agahim having dark followers that were loyal to him not Ganon saw it fit to resurect him and thus the vengeful dark wizzard is reborn. Now not content with just killing off his hated enemy the old fassoned way he wants him to go out with a bang and an explosion spell would work nicely. Exept to do what he plans he needs more than the power he currently has he needs to gian the spell power of the most magical spell-casters around and the decendants of the seven sages make pefect canidates. One by one sealing them in crystaks to draw out their pwer into his own untill his rival remains nothing more than ash.

You get the idea theres a little more but just picture this instead of the old dark world Link would go to via portal he would be whiped into the future a future where Agahim succeded in his spell. Think the magic equivelent to a nuke landing right in the middle of Hyrule and with that triggering the collapse of half of Death Mountain and a rediculous growth of Hyrule Canyon Hyrule has been compleatly divided into two halfs. Will Link be able to save the maidens from Agahim or will all of Hyrule suffer under a rule harsher than Ganon forever find out when I finish this hack hopefully sometime before 2007.

Thats my games stoyline in a nutshell which still hasn't triggered any good names. So some help in this department would be appreciated. And if I like your idea I'll find someway to put your name in the credits (I just haven't btherd messing with text yet)

PS - I'd post some screen-shots If I was more finished with this but I've only world-wise only finished Links house, Hyrule castle and a little surrounding areas and Inside Links house and starting Hyrule Castle.

Tanks. I kind of like the 'holy crap assplosion spel' one. It would make me smile to see a Title screen with that on it.

Though, from the plot summary I still can't figure out why Link has to go into the future. Oh well, prepare to be SURPRISED.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and predict it will involve the aquisition of three pallete-swapped arbituary collectibles of some degree of power from dungeons, where they are guarded by large monsters.

I get it my plot summery wasn't the best it was midnight and I was tired

But Legend of Zelda The Eye of the Cataclysm sounds pretty good I think I'll go with that.....that is unless someone postes something better._¬

And as for the whole future thing its more of a case of I want to do it but am still figuring out how to. I'm thinking that after the first time you fight Agahim realising that hisdefeat is at hand does the only thing he could do at this point throw him into a future where everyone is either a mutated monster or is a mutated monster that wants to kill him.

As for the obvious storyline I'm trying to sway away as much as posible but keep in mind that this takes place a few years after Link to the Past and it did show in the cedits that he put the Master Sword back in the pedistol and it would only make sence that he would put the pendants back to (can't have the keys to the most powerful sword hidden under your bed I guess).

That makes a lot of sense but good luck with that. You're gonna need an ASM hack to pull that off.

Nooooooooo I don't want to have to resort to ASM or hex editing unless I absolutly have to (I already have to to solve the stupid door problem)

Besides

1) This is my first hack and there arn't many full fleged Zelda 3 hacks out there

2) So far everything I want to do I can do with Hyrule Magic (I can even make a one way portal from the Dark to Light worlds I thought that would be a major pain)

I just plan to make a level and text hack and maybe some sprits if I can find something besides Links graphics (so far I've only changed his hair from pink to blond I also plan on switching the bunny link with something else).

Now as for you people that read this thread and those who want screen-shots *cough*thekins*cough* I guess I can give you a shot of Links House and the world map. But savor it because you're not getting something new untill I at least finish Hyrule Castle.

Ignore that it won't let me post my screen shot......I'm gonna go look up to see if I'm doing something wrong.
