| So yeah, I'm starting up a fantasy league on Yahoo. 6x6 (R, HR, RBI, SB, OBP, SLG for batters, W, SV, K, ERA, WHIP, K/BB for pitchers) scoring, 12 teams, draft's March 22 at 7 PM. I can change that, I think, if it'd work better for all y'all.

| Go to Yahoo Fantasy Sports and sign up there. Regular fantasy baseball, not Plus.
March 24th? Maybe. Is that okay with everyone? I'm pretty sure I'd be between seasons so I could be there. |

Oh, good. 28 players total. I've got five. Here's the roll call: Shotgun Sequencers: 7 Fireballs: 7 Bat Breakers: 6 UZR = Ratings: 5 $wingin' utter$: 3 I can't change how many players are on the list, but Yahoo'll update who's on it. I might need to drop it altogether, considering how many players per team are on it; there's no reason to lock in one-third of your roster, especially considering who'll be available. What say you? Drop the list? |

| Since I'm not sure who's gonna look at the front page, I have a proposition. Which stat do you prefer? The standard five (W, SV, K, ERA, WHIP) are in place. I have it at K/BB, but I'm not comfortable with that one. Feels redundant. So take your pick.

| holds help if you have middle relief pitchers. Saves are for closers and most of the remaining stats are for starters. So, having middle relief might be a sign of a good all-around team? so, i'd go for holds... | |||

Neener neener, I went with K/9. Whoever's got Brad Lidge is probably in the throes of non-stop orgasms. 
Anyway, in another league (for a change, a normal size: 11 teams), here's my roster. C: Kenji Johjima 1B: Prince Fielder 2B: Jeff Kent SS: Michael Young 3B: Miguel Cabrera OF: Adam Dunn, Coco Crisp, Brian Giles Util: Jonny Gomes Bench: Bill Hall, Chris Shelton, Curtis Granderson SP: Carlos Zambrano, Noah Lowry RP: Joe Nathan, Huston Street P: Scott Kazmir, Chris Young, Ervin Santana Bench: Mike Gonzalez, Francisco Liriano The following trades have been proposed: * Give Coco Crisp, get Scott Podsednik * Give Chris Young, get Craig Biggio Why would I ever make the second one? And as for the first, would the dropoff in hits (Crisp +30 in 2005), HR (Crisp +16) and RBI (Crisp +44) be worth the bump in steals (Podsednik +44)? |

| hmm...i'd keep coco--ideally you would want to sweep all the categories but contribution in 3 versus 1 is not worth it. |
