I was messing around with TLP the other day and starting messing with a few blank tiles around small Mario. It seems that Small Mario uses the same amount of tiles the Big Mario does....and it gave me an idea. What if Mario didn't get small when he was hit? Maybe he just looses his hat? It would work, but objects such as a bullet bill flying past small Marios top half would go right through him. So I need help finding the bit of data the can activate that top half.

So who wants to help

This sounds more like altering Mario's clipping field more than anything else.
Heh, if someone could get me the info for Super Mario's clipping field, I can help Kins on something that'll be just awesome to the nth degree

I'm actually fairly certain that the hitbox is the entire lower half, and when big the upper half. No complex field, Techokami.

I'm not concidering this as an "general idea". I just need help finding the data. I don't see why this would have to go in there.

Oh, okay. I too find this interesting that small mario has tiles above him, too. I wonder what would happen to the blank tiles if small mario ducks!

Actually I think there are tiles for that too. My original idea for that was to have Mario apprear to dodge an attack by apprearing to move toward the bg or something....

It's called PTE (Player Tilemap Editor), since I've already made a program called MTE (Misc. Text Editor).

PTE allows you to choose which tiles to use for Mario's different poses. I've got a working beta version which I have to make some test on and stuff.
