So, yeah, just curious as to where everyone thinks they fall on the Kinsey Scale.

Although the Kinsey Scale is technically an indicator of sexual *history*, for our purposes we're using it as an indication of orientation.

I was readinga journal where they mentioned incidents of pure homosexuality and pure heterosexuality are probably about 10% of the total male population...And even then you can't test for this kinda stuff 24/7/365, etc. in controlled studies. The conclusion with the concept that "most men" didn't feel homoerotic urges at time was probably due to machismo setting in and men blatently writing off such occurances as a freak accident, of sorts. However, I'm still vying and saying that the extremes of spectrum ought to be shortened and tidied up because too many men lack the understanding of sexuality in terms of this dichotomy to really place themselves on such a scale.

Incidentally, by definition, means that something is an event that happens once in a while, or not very often.

At least that's what I think it means, as I didn't bother to refrence to dictionary.com.

Like if you were incidentally homosexual, you'd occassionally let your mind slip into homosexual thoughts or vice versa. Normally you'd recover back to your normal mindset quickly.

Fine then, I'll say that I choose not to vote at all because I don't have feelings either way. I never pictured myself married, I always pictured me by myself doing things to help with the betterment of the scientific community, without a family or anything that I had to support, so I could be more free with how I handle my job and community status, seeing as I don't have to worry about a family, only myself.

My other point was that if the rating of 3 meant that you felt neither homo- nor heterosexual, I would have chosen that option. Since that is not the case, I chose the invisible option NaN.
