After doing some changes to my sonic 2 sprites im having checksum problems. What can i use to fix my now invalid checksum? | |||

There are a couple of tools that can do it, if you happen to be using ESE II it was a checksum fixer built in, if not get Fix Checksum from the downloads section at Sonicology. | |||

Amongst the downloads on that site was a decompiler and recompiler...
Problem is there in another language and from what i worked out when i decompiled it it came out as a very small bin? I'm much confused as to how to work it and if it is working properly is this .bin ment to be the outcome? (edited by m3gaman on 02-07-06 06:04 AM) |

Assuming you're talking about Sonic 2 for Genesis, just hack this into your ROM and it will bypass the checksum routine...
