Ever wonder what would happen if an atomic bomb were to go off in New York City? Click here to indulge yourself. While you're in the neighbourhood, you might as well check out the other nuclear example that is there as well, which is right here. Quite interesting, if you're into that kind of stuff.

Well, Iīve always been interestedin nuclear explosions and their effect so I find this to be pretty fun to read through.

I dunno if I still have those videos of nuclear explosions on my computer, though.

Very interesting, especially the fact that the vast majority of people in the outer ring wouldn't be injured or anything like that.

And yet LaGuardia Airport could pretty much run on schedule if needed... well, aside from that radiation.

Because a blanket will save you!

I had to watch a video about this in science two years ago... it was pretty creepy. How fast the destruction is, and how strong it is.
I just sit here saying it will never happen.

It will happen again...just a matter of when. In some ways, you just hope it doesn't happen when you are alive.

Yea, nuclear and biological weapons of all sorts are stupid. We could be using the money to eliminate diseases, end poverty, and hunger.

If you're lucky enough, you can get far away enough only to have your eyeballs melt out of their sockets.

For some reason. I bet he would still laugh, even if it fell on his house.

Damnit. Ohio is like the third most tactical point to strike due to our tank manufacturing. I think Lima's far enough away to be safe, though.

Coicidently that's just where Staten Island would be if a nuclear bomb went off in lower manhattan! Oh, all sorts of joys.

The risk is there, yes, but itīs also VERY small. I hope it doesnīt happen during our lifetime, at least. Oh, so thatīs what you wrote.

"Damnit. Ohio is like the third most tactical point to strike due to our tank manufacturing."

Oops?

I think he realized his existence causes hurt to other people.

All I know is that if a bomb fell on this island, a part of Puerto Rico would eventually end up somewhere near Alaska.

Which isn't fun.

Guys have you seen where I live on the Acmlm's Board map? It's like... 50 miles from anywhere important. If a low-grade nuclear weapon was detonated in Oregon, I would be utterly safe unless it was set specifically to kill me.
